Guestbook comments from the owner

The house in Benicia was really lovely--very adequate for a family.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. The fireplace was an especially nice touch.

The kitchen and dining area is open with a lovely view of the beautiful back yard, bedrooms are a nice size, and the house is very comfortable.

The kitchen was nicely furnished with just about anything you would need.

Sincerely,

Nancy Reed

Stef,

We had a great visit at your home again. So convenient to our friends home and the wonderful wine country. Just a few thoughts and observations....We found the oven very dirty and didn't feel comfortable running the self clean cycle. Also there was no shower soap in either bathrooms and no extra Scott towels which would have been nice. We will contact you again when we plan another visit to the area.

Warmest regards,

Tom and Nancie

Owner's Response: Hi Tom, So glad you enjoyed the house again! My apologies for the dirty oven! That one slipped by our cleaners. Won't happen again. :-) We provide one roll of paper towels per stay and we don't provide shower soap because we found that most people preferred to use there own. We can certainly provide it for you if you like! :-) Thanks! Stef

Excellent and Great location!

This house was a perfect fit for our family traveling from all over to attend my daughters wedding at the Benicia Clock Tower. We even had a chance to enjoy some of the amenities like the backyard patio for a relaxing Barbeque! The owner was awesome and responded in a timely manner.

This was such a lovely place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My two adult daughters and infant granddaughter traveled from the the East Coast to the West Coast for the birth of My eldest granddaughter's first child. This house was so great. It was so much nicer to stay in a home than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with a packet of coffee and a bottle of wine to welcome us. The layout of the house is wonderful. The kitchen is great. There was not one thing lacking in this home. The convenience of a washer and dryer was so appreciated. The yard was delightful. Having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for a number of years it was wonderful to be back in California. I sure do miss it! You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here. There was information on all sorts of things to do. We would have most definitely taken advantage of them if we weren't in town for such a short time and busy with hospital visits and visits to the new baby's home. My advice is read all the information in the instructions for the home. Do not skip over anything and your stay will be great!

Fantastic Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house in Benicia was wonderful. The house was nicely laid out and very quant. The owner graciously supplied coffee and a nice bottle of wine. There were other basic supplies like condiments, etc. that made out stay even more enjoyable as we did not need for anything. Everything in the house was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed picking fresh oranges and plums from the trees outside.....their taste was amazing!

Benicia was a great location for us to explore the bay area. We spent our days in San Francisco and also driving along Highway 1, exploring Muir Woods and Point Reyes. We also drove to Fort Bragg to see the glass beach which was amazing. The house provided comfort and peace once we returned from our long days.

Overall a great vacation and a great place to stay. Thank you so very much!

Wonderful house in convenient location

  • 5 of 5

This house is a great choice for a get away. The house is equipped with a great TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and a beautifully landscaped yard. We spent a lot of time sitting on both the front and back patios.

It is located conveniently about 40 minutes outside San Francisco, about 30 minutes from Napa, and 40 minutes from Sausalito. And the town itself (Benicia) is actually very charming itself. It was a very convenient walk to a great park for the kids (about 15 minutes away), and also to a grocery store.

We had a wonderful experience with our two kids and would love to return and visit again.

Stef, the owner was very accommodating and helped to make it a wonderful and memorable stay.

Great house, great location.
