Makani Sands #302 is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2ba townhouse on the 3rd & 4th floors with 3 lanais with spectacular view. Quick access to our beach and BBQs. This beautiful condo is filled with art work by local Hawaiian artists. Gourmet kitchen with new sub zero freezer. Upstairs, master bedroom is on the ocean with a jacuzzi style tub and a private lanai on the ocean. Guest bedroom has queen bed and private bath, lanai has mountain views. Downstairs is a 3rd bedroom with twin beds that can be made into a king bed upon request. There is a sofa bed in the living room and a 1/2 bath off the hallway. New curtains in the living room and Tiger Bamboo floors upstairs. There is quick access to our beach for swimming, kayaking and snorkeling and there is a front row seat for whale watching during the winter months. Come make Makani Sands #302 your home away from home while on Maui. AIR CONDITIONING!

Great property, you can top the view and location with a beach right out front! Plenty of room and well-appointed, it has everything you need for a great stay. Can't say enough but will gladly stay here anytime.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and in a great location. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The condo really has one shower. The master bath shower is a deep soaking tub and I actually fell and the bar placed to hold on to came off and hit me. Some of the decor is beautiful but in my opinion way too much stuff and some is very tacky. Furniture is not comfortable.

Beautiful ocean side stay

My family and I stayed at Makani Sands and enjoyed gorgeous ocean views. We loved having the ocean right outside, and enjoyed hanging out on the patio and balconies. Our apartment was very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Maui. Great location to, could walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries,etc.

Stunning views!

We came in winter to see the whales and this place did not disappoint. Sitting on the lanai watching the whales swimming by was the most amazing part of our trip. You can also snorkel right outside the property which was nice. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you.

Great views!

I left a longer review on the property manager site, so I'll leave a shorter one here. This place is alllll about the views. It was incredible to watch whales and sea turtles right from the Lanai and listen to the waves as we fell asleep. My only wish is that there were more space to store our luggage and supplies. We loved the art, the location, the overall vibes and would definitely stay here again!

Makani Sands checked all the boxes. We wanted to be in a quiet location, on the beach and close to various stores and shops. The unit 302 was perfect for our group of 7. Nice to have AC. Right on the beach

Family of 5 adults - just the right size for us and can’t get a better view of the ocean. You can walk outside and go down a few steps and be in the ocean if you would like. Only downfall of the condo is that there is no room in twin bed room to put your luggage and things. A/C was hard to figure out how to work but we finally got it going as well. We would stay again when going to Maui
