You'll be all set up inside with central air-conditioning to keep you comfortable. The full kitchen, open enough that anyone can roll in to help, features a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and a breakfast bar with café seating for three. A sofa bed provides an extra sleeping space.

Sweet Girls Getaway

This was a perfect spot for our girls getaway before school starts. Quiet, clean, wonderful pool and great lounge chairs. Easy access to shopping and the main drag. The kitchen was small and functional so all of our meals could be prepared saving money. Would like a full length mirror and baking cookie sheets. The stove had a burner that didn’t work, but the ice was full and water cold. Beds were comfortable and the large balcony was sweet.

Amazing Stay!

Our stay at Domaine le Colombier was fantastic. This house is everything I was looking for to host a large group in the south of France. All of the bedrooms are exquisitely appointmented and we had a great time lounging around the pool and walking the grounds. We cooked a lot in the great kitchen too. I would DEFINITELY recommend this property to anyone with a large group (we had 12, and could have fit 4-5 more very comfortably) and I will definitely stay here again!

C'était une belle histoire!

The location was amazing, large rooms with real character, a beautiful garden, and 107 acres of land where you can hike alongside a stream and enjoy the panoramic views. Sébastien and Christine are amazing too, they gave us a very warm welcome, and were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. It was perfect! We wish we never had to leave!

Mid May stay 4 nights

The hotel and room was very nice upon arrival and the location of the hotel next to Baytowne is perfect for young children needing quiet hours at night. We liked the distance from Baytowne being a short walk, and the pool. What was hard to ignore though was the lack of maid services- our entire trip we didn’t get a change of towels or sheets and the room was never cleaned for us, which would’ve been manageable had there been any cleaning supplies in the room. There was sand on the floors at all times and a pile of dirty towels in the corner due to not having the proper resources Overall it was able to be looked over as we were out of the unit most of the time, but still something to note before booking. .

Unlike a hotel, our vacation rental offers a “home away from home” experience, which means we do not provide daily housekeeping. However, we do supply fresh linens, towels, and starter amenities to help get guests settled in. We understand how important cleanliness is and regret that the available supplies fell short of what you needed. Review

Check in process easy. A little disappointed in the condo. The toilet ran, the patio door broken, the patio chairs were dirty and mildew. It was ok, but I wouldn’t stay there again

Wonderful Family holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Villardonnel. We were a party of 14 with three generations of family who enjoyed their stay equally. The property has been beautifully restored, all the rooms were bright and airy which the children had great fun exploring. The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of crockery & cutlery with a bonus of two dishwashers & fridges. We spent lazy days around the pool with meals on the terrace & equally enjoyed days out exploring the local area. The children really enjoyed their day tree climbing at Lac’cro Parc near Mazamet. We’d like to thank Sebastian and Christine for being lovely hosts and we hope to return again one day.

An amazing villa and gardens

We have just returned from a week at Le Colombier and can honestly say that we had a really great time. Virtually everything about the villa is perfect, from the beautifully decorated rooms through to the gardens and a really lovely large pool. We spent most days in the pool or relaxing in the extensive gardens and most evenings on the terrace enjoying excellent local food and wine. The children especially loved exploring the many rooms and playing in the pool. We were a party of 8, with 3 generations of family members and all enjoyed our visit equally. We hope to return again soon. Special thanks to our hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we drove up to the villa's gates.

A charming mansion for a group of friends

"We stayed in Le Colombier for two weeks in a group of 14 friends and everyone was really satisfied. The wonderful ancient house is restored with charme and it surrounded by a huge park full of trees. We found everything perfect: the elegant rooms (each with its private bathooroom), the kitchen very well equipped,the park, the clean and sunny swimming pool, the horses you can ride under the expert guide of Cristine and so on. It is a perfect place to stay in order to make pleasant walks, visits to various ancient castles and abbeys, tasting of good wines, bicycle rides along the Canal du Midi and to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing place. The owners, Cristine and Sebastien are perfect hosts: discreete but always ready to help with their useful suggestions."

Fabulous family holiday in the French countryside

We had just returned from a truly special week at Domaine Le Colombier. We were 17 people (9 adults and 8 children) and this house accommodated us in the utmost comfort. The house has been immaculately restored and furnished inside, very airy and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and serving (multiple dishwashers and fridges and vast quantities of crockery and glassware). We loved the shaded, cool and green outdoor terrace and garden and spent a lot of time in the (fenced for safety) pool. Sebastien and Christine were very helpful, kind and accommodating. They took all 8 of our kids (ages 4 to 11) horse riding around the property which was a highlight for the kids. For the adults, my highlight was probably the superb and reasonably priced 3 course meals we had every evening cooked by Florence, a local French lady who runs a catering business and cooked the most delicious, regional French dishes for us. A visit to the town of Carcasonne is a must. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. Regarding getting there, we flew into Bordeaux, Toulouse and Montpelier and all of those airports were fine and easy to navigate.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce lieu magique. Maison spacieuse, équipée, impeccable, hôtes généreux, campagne d'une grande beauté, promenades merveilleuses. Nous étions 10, mais la maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 18 personnes dans le plus grand confort. Nous recommandons vivement le domaine Le Colombier et remercions beaucoup les Angebault pour leur excellent accueil.

Wow!

De locatie was geweldig, grote karakteristieke kamers met ieder een eigen badkamer, een prachtige tuin, 107 ne hectare waar je heerlijk kan wandelen langs een beekje met prachtige panoramische uitzichten. De eigenaren zijn ook geweldig, wat een warm onthaal! Ze waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ons was het de perfecte locatie om te trouwen. Het was mooier dan we ooit hadden kunnen dromen. Als het een optie was geweest waren we nooit meer weg gegaan.

Idéal pour les grandes familles

A découvrir pour tous les amoureux de la nature, de la tranquillité, et des grands espaces, les chambres d'un grand confort ont été aménagées avec goût et la grande demeure dans son ensemble a le cachet de l'authentique tout en étant elle aussi très bien équipée. Magique!

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire au domaine le colombier! Tout y est réuni: une superbe région, une maison magnifique, une propriété sublime, des hôtes très accueillants et fort sympathiques. Nous étions 18 amis (adultes et enfants) pendant 15 jours dans les 2 maisons et nous nous sommes régalés entre la piscine, les ballades à cheval, les visites culturelles, les ballades en canoe sur l'Aude, le ping-pong, le tennis du village... et autres activités à faire dans la région. Tout y est réuni pour passer un séjour de rêve.

Des hôtes charmants dans un lieu magnifique

Dans un parc immense et peuple d'arbres superbes, une demeure magnifique et rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres a l'étage, toutes différentes mais dans le même esprit sobre et chic, sont très belles, de même que les très belles salles du rez de chaussée. Tous les détails de décoration sont très beaux. Et les hôtes des lieux sont des gens charmants, qui nous ont mis très à l'aise tout en restant discrets, et se sont fort bien occupés, avec une grande gentillesse, de ceux d'entre nous qui ont souhaité profiter d'une ballade à cheval. Merci pour ce séjour mémorable!
