Questo bellissimo monolocale al piano terra perfettamente rinnovato a Shem Creek, nel cuore del Monte Pleasant, SC è il luogo perfetto per sperimentare il fascino del Lowcountry. Un grande e privato lotto con percorsi separati in tutto ha aggiunto alla privacy di questo studio. Lo studio è situato in posizione centrale tra Downtown Historic Charleston, le spiagge di Sullivans Island e Isle of Palms. Questa pittoresca proprietà offre una vista su un lago di acqua dolce di cinque acri, paludi e splendidi tramonti. Due kayak, due biciclette e due paddle board sono forniti gratuitamente in modo da poter pagaiare lungo il torrente per cena o in bicicletta per i numerosi ristoranti e negozi su Coleman Blvd. Gli ospiti sono invitati a portare e attraccare la propria barca a un costo aggiuntivo (siamo a soli 1,5 km dal porto di Charleston via acqua). Beautiful views of Shem creek. Lot of space on the property. Amazing fire pit (unfortunately we didn't get to use it because of rain, but it would have been amazing if weather had cooperated). Room is very nice, modern, and clean. Zero complaints.

The Studio on Shem Creek is absolutely lovely. Perhaps the only thing better was the conscientious and accommodating hosts (who live permanently above in the main house). My wife and I were in town for a wedding and found the private apartment and grounds beautiful and conveniently located. We did not have a car but utilized Uber, the provided bikes, and our own two feet to get around. No problem! That is — until the rain began falling. Charleston and Mount Pleasant experienced historic rainfall (10” in 36 hours!) and some very high tides over our weekend stay. Flash flooding was common but we retreated indoors and enjoyed our luxurious, well appointed apartment. Owner Jackie checked on us as needed and was very accommodating as the apartment developed a small amount of water seepage on the kitchen floor. While not a particular bother to us, our last night we did vacate the apartment early so that the owners could understandably remediate the moisture intrusion before the arrival of the next guests. Jackie assisted in relocating us to another (larger) rental across the street and made sure we had everything we needed - and extended us a few bonus courtesies to boot. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again and frankly, if staying in Mount Pleasant as a couple, wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else.

This is probably my favorite property we've stayed at! The pictures just don't do it justice. It's quiet, peaceful, and those sunsets from the dock each evening are breathtaking. Jackie was an exceptional host too! She even gifted us with Callie's biscuits and their homemade fig jam and honey from their own hives.

Incredibly serene and cozy from the moment we arrived! Loved the two large floor to ceiling windows that "framed" the tranquil pond just outside the entry door. Super comfortable king bed, perfectly layered with soft linens and pillows. Extra bonus, (should you need to cook) is a complete kitchen with stove, fridge, and open shelving displaying white dinnerware and glass ware. The owners did a fantastic job of combining color, textures, and comfort!! Check in was a breeze with coded entry. We enjoyed our time at the studio and most definitely will return!

My fiancee and I recently returned from a week long stay at the Studio on Shem Creek. We had the best experience during our entire trip. The studio was so spacious and the host had all necessities provided that you could ever ask for. The grounds of the home were pristine and immaculately maintained. If you are looking for the full Charleston experience then you need to stay here! Beautiful grounds to walk on, a pier with stunning views and the gracefulness of the hosts are what truly made this place special for our trip to celebrate our recent engagement. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!! I cant wait to visit again one day!

In order to stay home with my two children, my husband and I decided renting out the the Studio on the first floor would be a great opportunity to help subsidize our mortgage, and share our beautiful location.

Once you arrive, you will see what a unique piece of property this is. With Shem Creek on one side of the garden and a five acre lake on the other side, we enjoy spectacular views of the lake and the marsh. Yet we are a stones throw to the heart of Mt Pleasant. And only a 10 minute drive to the beach and 10 minutes from historic downtown Charleston.

You will be the only person sharing this property with us. You have access to the creek, kayaks and two bicycles to help you explore Mt Pleasant. Also available is the ability to bring your boat (up to 23 feet) and leave it in the water, so you can enjoy all the water activities Charleston has to offer without having to launch your boat daily. The dock has power and water to clean you boat and catch. There is good fishing off the dock for red fish, trout and flounder.
