A drive up the hill to the main house and two flights of stairs bring you away from the business of daily life and into a sun-filled, open, and quiet space surrounded by century old pines and birdsong. Enjoy the zen garden and meditation bench or explore the wetlands and pond at the back end of the property on your way to Highland Park and a large network of trails along the Connecticut River.

A light filled, unique apartment very close to all amenities (restaurants, 24 hr CVS, etc). Nice linens, comfortable beds, and a coffee machine with coffee provided was a nice plus.

We had a lovely stay at this spot. We came in for the weekend for a family wedding and it was the perfect central location to bounce around out of for the ceremony & visiting everyone. The house is also super cool!

Cute place for an overnight stay. Lots of light and plenty of space. Host helped us when we have had some questions upon arrival. Note that there is ALOT of steps outside to get to the room on the 3rd floor. We arrived in a downpour making it a bit tricky. Overall we a nice stay.

As charming and unique as the listing portrays. Nice views. We were in the area to see a show at treehouse brewery and this VRBO worked out well for that - quick and easy 10 min drive to show. Had pre show dinner at Hope and Olive - highly recommend. The loft area was very warm upon our arrival but the mini split ac cooled the area nicely after running for a bit.Stairs to entrance - takes some effort but the views make it worth it. Host is nice and responsive.

Great host. Very responsive. Great location- in the woods but near downtown. The bathroom is on the first floor and the bed is up a spiral staircase. If that’s not an issue for you then I say take this place!

Pros: The apartment is beautiful. Lots of natural lights, sky windows, clean, bathtub has a jacuzzi, clean linens and very positive environment. Host is quick on responding and is super sweet. Privacy and lots of nature. You can literally be indoors and enjoy nature. Cons: not for people with bad knees as lots of stairs to reach to the apartment. For reference: I did not need it but there were no condiments except salt, no knife, no scissors, no laundry (this is mentioned in listing).
