Emily, I'm sorry that your visit was not satisfactory for you. I went out of my way to accommodate you even though you arrived two hours after the check in time. As I said when you arrived, it had been raining for two solid weeks and was very humid as well. I kept the dehumidifiers running 24/7 so that it would help with the humidity. Unfortunately, you did not communicate with me at all after your check in and when you left early, you did not inform me. I waited up until 1:00 a.m. because I was concerned about you. I would have appreciated it if you had the courtesy to let me know that you were leaving early. Fortunately, I have been blessed with guests who communicate well and have had mostly 5 star reviews. It is unfortunate that you did not communicate with me at all before you left early and went out of your way to write a negative review without giving me the opportunity to respond .while you were here.

Lisa and Marc, It was great having you here and I enjoyed meeting your son as well! The alpacas loved you and I think Sebastian wanted to go home with Marc! We'd all love to have you again if you're in the area. Caroline

Melissa, I can't tell you how wonderful it was for me to host you and Becky! You were really a joy to have and your appreciation of my animals (the loves of my life!) was a blessing. We would all love to have you come back ANY time!

Sarah, I'm sorry that the apartment didn't live up to your expectations. From the first time that I met you, I had the impression that you were expecting the apartment to be upstairs which is clear from the description of the property, that it is not. Due to safety concerns of Covid, I have been very careful about thoroughly cleaning the apartment before and after guests have been there. As I recall, the weekend that you were there, it was rainy, and extremely hot and humid. Unfortunately, you did not keep the door shut which allowed the humidity and heat to enter the apartment. When humidity comes into an apartment and the dehumidifier is not emptied (which I do not believe you did), it creates a "musty" environment. Thankfully, I have not had any complaints from guests either before and after your visit about the condition of the apartment.

Jon and Meg, I'm so glad you were able to enjoy the animals while you were here. We'd all love to have you again...and hopefully, the weather will be better! Caroline

Dear Angela, John and Lily, Having you stay at the Owl's Nest was as wonderful an experience for me as it was for you, I can assure you! Individually, you are each remarkable people and as a family, you are amazing - kind, thoughtful, and caring. My animals loved you as well, and Beethoven will be forever grateful that you introduced him to bananas. He now insists on having a banana as well as an apple for their daily treats! Thank you for choosing the Owl's Nest as your Thanksgiving "getaway". Having you stay here, enjoying all that the area has to offer, with sweet Lily enjoying sledding and all of you nurturing the animals, was a special treat for me as well... I couldn't have asked for more wonderful guests!
