Location...Location...Location!!! 1600 square foot 3 bed/2 bath rambler sleeps 6, 3 queen sized beds, and even a pack and play (porta-crib) for your little one, gives everyone plenty of room to spread out. Our home has an open floor plan with 4 flat screen TV's (60",44", 23" and 18') the 60" has a DVR and VHS and extended channels and the guest rooms have built in DVD player. The backyard has Malibu lights and tropical landscape. This includes a natural gas BBQ, patio furniture (table & chairs and 2 chaise lounges). There are games, puzzles, internet connection to enjoy or just peace and quiet--we've got it all.

Surprise Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals is a short 1/2 mile from your home away from home, as is Surprise Tennis and Racquet Ball Complex, Pickle Ball courts and the Dream Catcher Ball Park. The Rainbow Play Park and Urban Fishing is right next to the Library and across from the ball field. The Ottawa University is located right behind the Dream Catcher Ball Park. The Peoria Sports Complex, Chase Baseball Field, Goodyear Stadium, Glendale Arena, Westgate, Suns Basketball Arena, Cardinal Football Stadium, NASCAR PIR, and Luke Air Force base are only a short drive away. For the golf enthusiast there are dozens of local courses and hundreds around us. Live theater, the zoo, hiking trails, fishing, movies, bowling, restaurants, shopping, urgent cares, hospitals and much, much more are all in or near surprise.

The host was wonderfully accommodating! We were able to check in early and stay late. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with necessities and relaxing open living room. I was also very thankful for the handicapped master bathroom and walk in shower for my elderly mother in law. When we come to visit our Arizona family again we will definitely come again!

We are both retired. Grew up in Huntington Beach, CA 2nd generation. Married 1969 - High School Sweethearts. We moved to Irvine, CA for 33 years then came to Surprise to retire. We have 2 wonderful daughters and 5 grandchildren. We love Arizona, whether it's summer time or winter and enjoying baseball and the outdoors. We love boating with our family and friends and hiking the White Tanks.

Why they chose this property

Baseball is our favorite pastime, as well as our children and grandchildren. We live in the same community as our rental and being within walking distance from Surprise Stadium is a real plus. We purchased this home as a new build, while still in California, so we could come and visit family and friends and use as a vacation home for ourselves. So when we retired we bought another new build in the same community and retired to enjoy life in the sunshine and baseball. So our AZ retreat home is now open for everyone to enjoy what we discovered in Surprise.

What makes this property unique

You can walk to the Public Library, Urban fishing, professional sporting events, Ottawa University, wonderful public pool and water park (opens in May), eateries, Movie theaters, bowling alley with laser tag and fun zone, grocery stores, Walgreens, CVS, close to the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium and the AZ Famous Dillians BBQ restaurant at the Zoo and much, much more. The sunshine is just an added plus to make your vacation destination so desirable.
