Dar Eva is a traditional house featuring an open central courtyard and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views. Located in the Upper Talâa district (14th century), it offers easy access to the major sites of the Medina, as well as nearby markets and restaurants. This riad is ideal for a quiet family vacation or an Orientalist getaway!

The English-speaking Governess ensures Guests' comfort, prepares the breakfast service, and organizes and facilitates the stay (cultural visits, excursions, dinners)

The space
It is a house of 2160 ft², built on three levels around a central courtyard in marble with ancient fountain:
~ Two double ensuite bedrooms and one twin ensuite bedroom (bathtub in the master bedroom)

~ Two double beds 63 x 79 inches and two single beds 35 x 79 inches

You will marvel about the views beyond the roofs of the medina, the medieval ramparts, the hill Zâlagh planted with olive trees and the sixteenth century Fort Borj, illuminated at night

Dar Eva is ideally located to enjoy your stay, at the crossroads of the two main business streets, allowing easy access to the key sites of the Medina:

~ Close to the main Gate: Bab Boujloud and its attractive area with many restaurants
~ Close to cab rank and guarded public parking lot, located "Place Batha"
~ The house is nestled in a quiet alley, easy to find back walks!

• Use of the fireplace located in the dining room: for the purchase of firewood, a contribution of MAD 150 is required

BEDDING and HOUSEHOLD LINEN
Our beds are equipped with professional firm mattresses. Bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, made for Dar Eva. 100% cotton bath sheets, hair dryer and bathrobes in each of the three bathrooms

INFORMATION
• Our prices include 10% VAT
• Social responsibility: the Governess is a salaried employee, registered with the authorities of Fez; she benefits from social insurance and works in compliance with Moroccan law

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, including the roof terraces

Other things to note
• You should be aware that winters in Fez can be cold. In traditional houses, there is no central heating because of the open patio (rain-protected at Dar Eva). It's a good idea to bring warm clothing in wintertime - The 3 bedrooms have efficient reversible air-conditioning (heating), and auxiliary heaters are available for the office and living room; fireplace in the dining room
• Please note that because Dar Eva is built on several levels, it would not be suitable for someone with difficulty going up and down stairs
