beautiful, clean home in a lovely neighborhood!

We came here for a work trip and we can't wait to come back for more play time! I chose this home because of the reviews, and the reviews were right on point. Rachel's home is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The entrance is tucked away and private so we felt like it was truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood. There is something about going to a VRBO you don't want it to be obvious to the neighbors that you're from out of town. This place was perfect. Plenty of close street parking so you're not walking around with luggage when you arrive. The rooms are airy, breezy, clean, and PERFECTLY California vibe. Truly a home away from home. We walked to Abbot Kinney for great shopping and food. Walking around the neighborhood is refreshing and relaxing. Don't think twice about choosing this home. We will be back! Thank you Rachel!!!

Great house, great location

Hello, we loved our stay at Rachel’s. The location is great, near to Abbott, the canals, the beach, etc. You have all you need in the kitchen. The patio is super sunny, great to have lunch and dinner. The internet is fast. We highly recommend and would stay again if we are back in Venice.

Great House, Perfect Location

We went to L.A. to visit family. The home was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, comfortable, fully equipped with everything a family needs and was close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We were there in July but because of ocean breezes, we did not need air conditioning. Rachel was a great hostess. If we had a minor problem, she took care of it immediately This will definitely be our first choice the next time we visit!

Great home in perfect location

We had a fantastic five days staying in Rachel’s lovely home it was a calm comfortable oasis on our travels the welcome gifts were a lovely touch the home had everything we needed and the location was perfect to explore LA. We would definitely love to return and recommend to others.

We had a great stay for our family of 4. The owner was very responsive and really thought of every detail to make it comfortable. Beds were comfortable, home clean and on a quiet street but close to the beach and Venice/Santa Monica. Great value for the price and for exploring LA. We loved it and would highly recommend this home if you are planning a stay in SoCa!

Simple, clean & just what we needed

We stayed at Rachel's property for a long weekend for my sister's wedding. The house was cute and clean with very comfortable king sized beds. Rachel even left us a bottle of wine in the fridge- very thoughtful! The house was close to the airport but still in a great & and active neighborhood (Venice). When we went out for meals, it was often walkable from this location. Would definitely recommend this rental. Thanks for having us Rachel!

Great location, well equipped

We had a great time in Venice/LA and staying in this property made it easy. It is very comfortable and the owner has supplied it with everything you might needs. It is an easy 25 walk to venice pier. Fun vacation and a perfect home away from home.

The property wants for nothing. It is so comfortable. So much space, And storage places too. Wonderful beds and bedding. Sofa so comfortable. Great television channels for the little time we had for watching, but lovely to catch a late night film sometimes. The house is so well and thoughtfully stocked for your every need, and lovely little sun trap of a garden too. A very good area for all Conveniences and Abbot Kinney and its specialities, and of Course close to Venice beach. Convenient for LAX also. Just a good all rounder. Thank you so much. All best. Judy.

Comfortable, quiet, relaxing

The house was a more than we expected and a perfect respite for our holidays in L.A. The owner welcomed us warmly after our arrival, offering us additional information about the neighborhood. Loved the neighborhood with easy parking, close to great restaurants and walking distance to the beaches. Her home is quiet, clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was supplied. As an extra, a bottle of wine and some delicious chocolates greeted us when we opened the frig. Great touch! We would stay there again without hesitation.

Every detail thought out for your comfort

Rachel was so charming and she thinks of everything possible to ensure you are comfortable. You do not need to rush to a shop when you first arrive, it is all there and it all works. Every little detail or thing you might immediately need, she has provided. Furniture and furnishings are to a high standard.lovely comfy sofa. Beds are super comfortable and large and bedding too. Masses of wardrobe space and hangers. Kitchen has everything you need and is well organised, with excellent large fridge freezer, and the garden is so cosy too. Arrival and key arrangement is simple and parking is without problem too. Always can find a space right outside the house.. Rachel is easy to contact and responds immediately.. We would continue to visit as the overall level of comfort and attention to detail overall is unusual, worldwide. Also it's a perfect situation and close to everything, beach, Abbot Kinney and nice shops and restaurants and a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The whole thing just works perfectly for ease of arrival and stay. It's quite unusual in this way. We are returning and are booked in! Thank you Rachel. David and Judy

The location is great - and the bikes were a great plus for rides along the beach. The owner is very responsive and thoughtful. It’s great for four adults who enjoy cozy accommodations.

,We had a wonderful and most memorable staying experience at this lovely, home-like and spotless vacation home. We had everything we needed during the stay and the owner had been very thoughful to follow up on us asking how was our stay. It is also located very close to beach with quiet neighbourhood. Venice 2 bedroom getaway, perfect location, very affordable and comfortable!

Rachel`s home was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need and she immediately updated with a highchair for our 9-month old infant at our request. Very comfortable beds, very clean and neat looking, fast internet, an abundance of TV-channels and Netflix. Very nice, quiet residential neighborhood and still in walking distance to the hippest street in the world; Abbot Kinney road and a comfortable walk with the stroller to Venice beach. Perfect location base for exploring everything in the Los Angeles area - thank you Rachel!!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to Abbott Kinney

Rachel's home was perfect for our stay. It was clean and well-appointed, with very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a kitchen with everything you could need. We enjoyed dinners at her lovely dining table and also enjoyed relaxing on her patio. The quiet residential neighborhood is walking distance to the main drag in Venice (Abbott Kinney) with many high end shops and restaurants. We loved the location and enjoyed a short jog to watch the surfers at the beach each morning. I look forward to staying again, hopefully next year! Thank you, Rachel!!

Venice is a vibrant outpouring of creativity where, as an amateur sculptor and jewelry maker, I feel totally at home. I split my time between Venice and my beach house on the sands of the Sea of Cortez in San Felipe BC.

Why they chose this property

This property is desirable because, even though it is a only very short walk to all the action of Abbot Kinney Blvd, it is set in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of street parking. This has become increasingly important as travelers coming to work at "Silicon Beach" and other travelers can feel like they gan get away to their own private refuge. The house is super livable - comfy beds with good linens, a real kitchen stocked with just about every utensil you need to cook meals, laundry facilities, a lovely patio to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and calm, quiet privacy
