Altman House

We will not be returning to The Altman House after several years of renting in July. Not pleased initially with the rent hike associated with the mid-year management company change. House is in need of several repairs/upgrades to include new bed (bigger) and mattress in main floor bedroom. Dishwasher falls out when loading dishes, ice maker not working, bee and wasp problem, rusty nails scattered everywhere under house, power went out twice, several stair spindles are rotten outside, grass overgrown but cut on last day. Lastly, my adult son believes a bat bit him under the house early this morning and he will undergo a round of rabies vaccines per the advice of DHEC.

Lovely House

Great location. The rooms were clean and nice. The home was in good condition. Loved the screened in porch. Some notes, the "owners closets" in the main level, kitchen, and storage shed under the deck were left unlocked. The kitchen cabinets had an excessive amount of dish and cookware. We counted over 30 coffee cups alone. It would have been nice to have some pantry space. The house needs a new broom and dustpan.
