The cabin is conveniently located between the areas ski resorts and the mountain towns of Davis and Thomas.
Adventure awaits as you will be very close to Timberline Mountain, Canaan Valley Resort, Whitegrass ski touring center, Blackwater Falls State park, Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge, Dolly Sods Wilderness, and all the areas hiking and mountain bike trails.
In addition, Black Bear Resort offers a family friendly amenities for guests to enjoy including a seasonal pool, pickleball court, basketball court, fishing pond, firepit and more.

My stay here was a wonderful reset during my business trip in Canaan Valley. I arrived to a clean & organized cabin with everything I needed, I was able to make breakfast without bringing my own utensils and enjoy it with a view. David was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend choosing to stay here while you’re in the area!
