While we always do our very best to support our guests and address concerns promptly, some conditions are outside of our control and some may involve coordination with the resort. Beaches - Beach conditions in Hawaii naturally change throughout the year. Ocean swells, tides, currents, and seasonal weather can affect shoreline size and accessibility from month to month.
Critters - Maui’s tropical environment means you may occasionally hear a rooster or spot friendly geckos, our harmless insect-eaters that are considered good luck in Hawaii (and bad luck to harm them). The home receives regular professional pest control services, though pests can still appear from time to time. Tropical critter encounters do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments. If you encounter any issues, please let us know.
Neighbors - The surrounding area may include normal island activity such as construction, traffic, landscaping, or other guests. Noise and disturbances do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments. If something feels disruptive, please let us know.
Utilities - due to weather or infrastructure limitations, you may experience interruptions to services such as water, electricity, cable, internet, air conditioning and plumbing. Interruptions outside our control do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments.We will always do our best to assist, support, and help reduce any impact when possible.
Amenities - We do our very best to keep all in-home amenities and appliances in good working order though Hawaii’s salty air and humidity can cause wear and tear more quickly than in other places. Resort amenities such as the pool, BBQs, etc. are outside of our direct control and may occasionally be closed or undergo maintenance without notice. Interruptions in availability of amenities outside our control do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments. Please notify us promptly if something needs attention.
