Our first impression of the property was lovely and esthetically it was all very pleasing until we realized the a/c wasn’t working in the entire lower unit. A barrage of issues continued to unravel throughout our stay. The host was responsive via text however, not helpful. We spend the first 30 hours with no A/C in the middle of July. None of the exterior doors lock from inside or outside and they fall off the tracks easily. It takes two atong people to get them back on. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty, the garbage disposal didn’t work (which we fixed ourselves), the downdrafts on the stove aren’t vented properly so the place fills with hot air/smoke when cooking. The toilets are wall mounted but not properly installed so they are precariously attached. The left side lavatory handle in the upstairs unit seemed to have been attached with super glue and fell off with the first attempt at using it. Lastly there is NO WiFi despite the suggestion on the listing that it’s intermittent, it’s not. The structure is metal clad and I believe is the cause for the issue. Not much you can do about that except to be prepared for no service. We attempted to cooperate with the host by asking for a partial reimbursement considering all the issues, especially the a/c. She continued to state that she would try but the owner had the final say so otherwise we could take it up with VRBO. The owner allegedly left the country and VRBO was not helpful. I would not recommend staying here!
