Nice place, host(s) communicated quickly. Updated interior, older building. Lots of room, furnished well. Kitchen had everything you would need. Very comfortable stay.

The condo is very old but everything was exceptionally neat and clean! Some things were older and some had been updated(cabinets, floors). Owner and property manager were quick to reply to an issue. We went in August and it was very quiet and peaceful. We stayed gone most of each day doing nearby activities- hiking, biking, Ben & Jerry tour, visiting stores in Stowe. Overall a nice place to stay.

5-Stars: The host communication and willingness to work with us. 1 star: The outcome and added stress to the weekend. ***Make sure you check with host IMMEDIATELY after booking to confirm the location is actually available and blocked off on other sites after you purchase. We came in late, about 12:30am, and notified the host ahead of time. The assured us it is fine as it is a keypad entry. Upon arrival we tried the keypad and could hear it work but it seemed the dead bolt was locked. Called the Host and thankfully they answered right away. She called around and stayed connected throughout the process, unfortunately they assumed that it was the cleaning or maintenance that had locked the deadbolt. They were willing to pay for a hotel stay to accommodate us for the night. The next morning received confirmation that the keypad had been resolved. Went over and typed in the keypad number and opened the door. Success! I thought...Until i saw other suitcases and a dog charging at me! After discussing with the Host, it seemed they had the location listed on a different site and the dates were not blocked off so it was double booked and other individuals had arrived to the rental first. The entire purchase was refunded and thankfully the hotel was willing to work with us and our situation to accommodate us. The host was very apologetic and accommodating due to the situation. Just made the weekend with family a little more stressful and not as relaxing as it could have been.

We recently stopped working with the agency that caused the double booking, this is a first for us and we'll make sure it never happens again. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we're glad The Bolton Valley Hotel was able to help at the last minute!
