This family-friendly waterfront cottage is located on the Mississippi River in Iowa, near the Shimek State Forest. It can accommodate 14 guests between its three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, while the third bedroom has three twin beds, one single bed, and one trundle bed. There is also a full-size sofa bed in the family room, two queen-size air beds and two futons. In both of the bathrooms, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are kindly provided.



In the living room, guests will find a sofa, two armchairs, and a television, the perfect place to kick back and unwind after a busy day hiking in the forest or fishing on the river. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a toaster, a coffeemaker, utensils, cookware, dishes, and some pantry items, making delicious home-cooked meals a great option. Other amenities include a dining room, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.



Outside, there is a lovely lawn where the children can play, and a gorgeous deck where guests can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Should guests wish to take the cooking outside and enjoy some al fresco dining, there is a barbecue grill available to use. Guests can also make use of the three kayaks and four inner tubes for some fun in the water.
