About this property

Luxe Cambridge Townhouse Private Entry · MIT · Kendall Sq

A Grand-Scale Sanctuary Built for Those Who

Refuse to Compromise.

Most short-term rentals are assembled in a weekend. This one took weeks of daily market research, design planning, and physical labor — every piece assembled, every wall treated, every detail considered by a single person who holds herself to a higher standard professionally and personally.

Spanning 1,400 square feet in East Cambridge’s Innovation District, this is the space local hotels wish they could offer — and can’t.

Skip the cramped, noisy corridors of Downtown Boston high-rises. Situated directly on the Lechmere T transit corridor, our private residence lets you door-knock your way to the Boston Seaport, Back Bay, or Downtown Crossing in under 10 minutes, while enjoying double the square footage of a standard city hotel room

BEDROOM 1 — THE EDITORIAL SUITE

The moment you open this door, you understand that something different was built here.

A full accent wall of custom gold-bronze textured wallpaper — hand-installed, panel by panel — sets the tone immediately. A tufted linen headboard anchors the room against the warmth of the wallpaper. Premium white Sateen linens, layered olive velvet throw pillows, matching gold geometric nightstands, a full-length floor mirror, and a plush Moroccan area rug complete a bedroom that belongs in a design magazine.

The garden view from the window. The curated abstract art on the wall. The globe bedside lamp casting warm light at night. None of this happened by accident. Every single decision was made on purpose.

But the centerpiece changes everything.

A motorized adjustable queen bed frame paired with a 24-inch premium mattress — a $5,000 investment made specifically for you. Elevate your head, raise your feet, or sink into perfect zero-gravity position at the touch of a button. After a long flight, a full day of meetings, a 12-hour hospital shift, or a marathon of MIT lectures — this is where your body finally gets what it deserves.

You will not sleep better anywhere in Cambridge. Guaranteed.

BEDROOM 2 — THE FASHION SUITE

A completely different world from Bedroom 1 — and that was entirely intentional.

A silver-grey metallic textured accent wall — also hand-installed — creates a cooler, editorial aesthetic. Two twin beds with matching charcoal tufted headboards are dressed in crisp white hotel linens with forest green velvet throws and olive accent pillows. A gold curtain rod with floor-length cream drapes. Fashion editorial art — Chanel, heels, perfume — curated and framed on the walls. A globe bedside lamp between the beds.

This room was designed for the guests who notice the details. The siblings on a graduation trip. The colleagues on a work assignment. The mother and daughter celebrating something worth celebrating.

THE LIVING ROOM

The living room was designed around one idea: what does it feel like to truly exhale after a long day?

An oversized cloud-white modular sectional — the kind you sink into and don’t want to leave — faces a 65” Smart TV wall-mounted at the perfect height. Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and live streaming channels are all loaded and ready. Sheer floor-to-ceiling white curtains with gold rings diffuse natural light from the courtyard garden just beyond the glass. A boucle accent chair with gold legs. A jute area rug grounding the space. A round black coffee table styled with books and a small plant.

This is not a living room that came with the apartment. Every piece was researched, purchased, and placed here by someone who cared.

THE DINING AREA

A glass-top dining table with a sculptural mixed-chair design — cream modern chairs paired with yellow accent chairs — sits beneath a black and gold chandelier that anchors the entire open-plan space.

A cowhide rug beneath the table. A tall palm tree beside it. A large gold-framed abstract canvas on the wall. A curated console table with sculptural decor — sailboats, candles, gold accents — lining the wall beside it.

This is a dining area designed to make even a takeout dinner feel like a moment worth having.

THE CHEF’S KITCHEN AND SOCIAL BAR

The kitchen is where the ER Nurse in your host really shows up — because preparation and stocking are everything.

A full chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a teal mosaic tile backsplash, and dark cabinetry opens directly to the living area. Three designer boucle bar stools with gold legs line the kitchen counter — a social bar that invites conversation while dinner is being made. A curated gallery of framed art hangs above the bar counter. Pendant lights complete the look.

We stock everything you need so you do not have to think about it:

• Nespresso pods, Tazo and Twinings teas, organic sugar

• High-quality cooking oils, salt, pepper, and essential spices

• Complimentary laundry pods and dishwasher pods

The kitchen is ready. So are you.

THE WELLNESS EXPERIENCE

Both private bathrooms feature hotel-style wall-mounted dispensers stocked with premium shampoo, conditioner, and body wash — installed by hand, chosen deliberately. High-pressure showers. Bidets in both bathrooms.

Every guest receives a personal wellness kit waiting for them on arrival:

• Professional dental kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss)

• Makeup remover wipes

• Cotton swabs

• Body wipes

• Individually wrapped slippers for a hygienic, shoes-off environment

This is not a host who bought a welcome basket. This is a host who thought through what you actually need when you arrive tired from traveling — and made sure it was already there

THE COURTYARD

Step outside to one of Cambridge’s most beautiful shared outdoor spaces.

A fully landscaped resort-style courtyard with manicured garden beds, mature trees, lush shrubs, and seasonal plantings. Adirondack lounge chairs for morning coffee. A fire pit seating area for evening conversations. High-top bar tables for outdoor dining. A BBQ and grill area for weekend cookouts. String lights overhead. An outdoor umbrella lounge for shade.

Your bedroom windows look directly onto this courtyard — garden views that remind you this is not a hotel room. This is a home.

EXECUTIVE READY

Ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi optimized for video conferencing and large file transfers is available throughout the suite. A dedicated workspace is set up and ready. In-unit washer and dryer for extended stays. The quiet residential location on Rogers St ensures focus without city noise.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This property is top-notch. Really clean, with comfortable beds and tasteful furniture. The host was very communicative and ready to help with any questions. We would absolutely want to stay there when we return to Cambridge.

Thank you so much, Bjorn! It was a genuine pleasure hosting you and your group. We put a lot of care into the space, so it means the world to hear the beds, the design, and the little details landed the way we hoped. You’d be welcome back anytime, Cambridge will be waiting for you!

About the host

Hosted by Sunny Hasmi

Host profile image
I’m Sunny — an ER Nurse and the person who built every inch of this space by hand.
I know what it feels like to arrive somewhere exhausted and need everything to just work. No scrambling for supplies. No hunting for the WiFi password. No wondering if the sheets are clean. I built this apartment the way I’d want to come home after a 12-hour shift — and then I made it better.
I respond within the hour. I handle everything personally. I speak Arabic, English, Spanish, Hindi, and Portuguese — so wherever you’re coming from for the World Cup or your research posting, communication is never a barrier.
My standard is simple: nothing left to chance. The same standard I bring to patient care, I bring to your stay.
Welcome to Cambridge. Welcome home.

Why they chose this property

East Cambridge is one of the most strategically located neighborhoods in the entire Boston area — and for Summer 2026, it’s the center of the world.
East Cambridge is an official FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Zone. Free outdoor events run June 13 through July 9 — steps from your door. Lechmere Station gives you direct shuttle access to every Boston match at Gillette Stadium. The July 9 Quarterfinal fan zone is literally in East Cambridge.
Beyond FIFA: MIT and Kendall Square — the world’s #1 biotech hub — are a 5-minute walk. Harvard is 10 minutes. MGH, Brigham & Women’s, and Beth Israel are one Red Line ride away. Museum of Science: 5-minute walk. Charles River Esplanade: 5-minute walk. Logan Airport: 10 minutes by car.
The neighborhood itself is residential and quiet — great restaurants, cafes, and Whole Foods steps away — while putting all of Boston at your fingertips. Whether you’re here for the World Cup, a research posting, a hospital rotation, or exploring the city — you couldn’t ask for a better base.

What makes this property unique

Three things set this property apart from every other rental in Cambridge.
First — it was built by hand. Every piece of furniture assembled, every accent wall installed, every fixture chosen after weeks of deliberate research by a single host who holds herself to a higher standard. This is not a property assembled in a weekend. It took months.
Second — the sleep experience. The motorized adjustable queen bed in the Editorial Suite — with its 24-inch premium mattress and $5,000 investment behind it — delivers a recovery experience that most hotels cannot match. After a World Cup match, a clinical rotation, or a red-eye flight — your body will thank you.
Third — nurse-standard hospitality. Your host is an ER Nurse. That means nothing is left to chance. The wellness kit waiting for you on arrival. The hospital-grade cleanliness standard applied to every turnover. The fully stocked kitchen so you never have to scramble. The 1GB fiber WiFi that never throttles during a video conference. These are not random amenities — they are the result of someone who understands what it means to need a real home away from home.
This is a residence built with intention. Every detail chosen for you.
