Enjoy the view of the valley from this lovely condo's balcony, then throw some steak and veggies on the private gas grill! Western decor adorns the walls and couches, creating a perfect retreat around the gas fireplace. Feel free to take a rest on the queen sofabed in the living room between outdoor activities. The loft area is perfect for guests who want to be connected to the central hub of the home. Everyone can gather to make breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen (set with luxurious granite countertops). Guests of this condo can also partake in shared amenities as part of their stay, including the heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs.

What's nearby:
Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Excellent location and cozy accomodation

Very convenient for the main gondola. Everything was well laid out and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. We'd stay here again.

This is our fourth time staying at this location. It is so convenient so clean and so accommodating.!The kids love the cookies and hot chocolate, coming off the slopes after a long dayThe only issue we had was there was some construction being done on the sauna, and we were unable to use that part of the facility. We love this place

Great ski in ski out condo

Clean and comfi condo, beautiful view of Gore Creek and Vail Mountain. Building has great amenities and proximity to Lionshead lifts can't be beat.

The Lion Square Lodge South is a wonderful property: great location, with wonderful views of the outdoor pool, gondola, Gore Creek and mountain. The units we have stayed in do not disappoint. We will be returning next summer.

Great Fall Time Vail Rental

The rental was close in proximity to everything you could hop on the trail and go either direction. The staff at the front desk was amazing and helped us with everything. I would definitely come back to this rental as it had great views, cozy accommodations, and a great place to relax.

Amazing views!

This unit has the most beautiful views. Quiet, you could hear the water rushing in Gore Creek below the balcony! Very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely return for another visit.

Great location for ski weekend

This unit was perfect for our family of 4. This was our first time skiing in Vail and we loved having ski valet and quick access to the Eagle Bahn gondola. There was plenty of space for us and our teenage boys. We are at El Sabor twice and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this unit for a ski weekend getaway!

I loved the location and the views. Brand new grill. Absolutely out of this world comfortable beds. Very Very minor, need a silicone spatula, an additional cookie sheet. Oven timer does not work. But for those minor things, this place is heaven.

Incredible Balcony View

This property was absolutely perfect! The view from the balcony was stunning, overlooking the pool, stream, and ski lift. We could watch the skiers coming down the mountain! It had everything we needed from box fans to humidifiers which helped our dry skin. The room was clean and met our needs accordingly. Would definitely stay in this room again! The only thing I would fix is a way to close the sky light upstairs. We never could figure that out. The lodge is also excellent...they were always available to run us into town and had free wine and cheese on Friday. Super friendly staff that knew our names the first day. Loved the location and would highly recommend!

Never again

I rented this condo for a father / daughter spring break ski week. I realized the day before our flight that I had mistakenly booked the condo for exactly one week later. It was a huge and embarrassing mistake. I sent an emergency message in the app and then called the property and left an urgent message with the assistant general manager. I received an automated bot text reply and nothing else - crickets. I then rented a two bedroom condo nearby via Hotels.com that was great and heard nothing but automated emails from Vacasa. Never again will I make the same mistake and never again will I rent from Vacasa.

Awesome with One issue

This property was great with location, amenities and cleanliness. One major issue with the temp in the loft. It was at least 90 degrees and management was unable to make any adjustments. Vail was unusually warm our weekend and building was still running heat, we had to sleep with the door open. Otherwise great.

Super location! Great customer service!!!

Super smooth check-in process, parking, friendliness & customer service of staff, ski valet, shuttle, restaurant, daily maid service, etc. AMAZING location for ski in/out!!! Loved the hot tub and views. Minor issues with a broken drawer & heater cover in bedroom. Kitchen could use a few more utensils, like a good pizza cutter & cutting board. Otherwise, totally worth it!!!

Excellent location

We had a great week at Lion Square Lodge. Staff was excellent, very helpful. Space was exactly as expected and clean. Location was perfect, ski in/ski out with ski valet. We would definitely stay again. However, we were disappointed in thermostat regulation- it was so hot! And there were only two functioning washers of four- made life with teenagers difficult.
