The Space:

This tranquil wooded getaway features a prime locale just minutes from both vibrant city attractions and an array of outdoor recreation. Relax with a crisp beverage on the screened patio, offering views of the pond. Featuring a luxurious interior and all-new appliances, this 2BR home provides plenty of room to relax and entertain. LIVING AREA The welcoming open-concept living area features plush seating for the group and a 60 smart TV. KITCHEN & DINING The pristine kitchen is appointed with a full suite of appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of cookware. When its time to dine, gather at the four-person table. BED & BATH This home sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. Two tranquil bedrooms are both furnished with a comfy queen-size bed. The bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES Sip morning coffee on the screened patio, which offers ample cushioned seating and forest views. An expansive yard features plenty of space to relax or play lawn games. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer. Parking is available for four cars in the driveway. This single-story home is accessed via five steps at the entryway. THE LOCATION Travel approximately 10 minutes to dining and shopping in downtown Hendersonville. To discover the beauty of the region, enjoy hiking or biking at Pisgah National Forest Preserve or DuPont State Park. Additional entertainment can be found at Flat Rock Playhouse, Sky Top Orchard, or Lake Summit.

    The house was very clean and was just a lovely place to stay. Thoughtful accommodations were in every room. Spent evenings and mornings on the porch enjoying the view of the pond, the birds and the frogs. The house is conveniently located to attractions in Flatrock and Hendersonville. It’s also a perfect base for visiting other towns. Communications with the property manager were excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

    House is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The screened in porch was lovely with a beautiful view of the pond. A great place to start the morning with a cup of tea and a little time quiet time with Jesus. The house was very clean. In fact, the smell of cleaning agents was almost too strong when we first walked in the door. A few additions would have been nice: a salt shaker and a box of tissues. Overall, we would highly recommend this home!

    Outstanding location ! Charming house in immaculate condition. Comfy beds, stunning bathroom - more than enough room for two teens and myself. Backyard is huge and the pond out front had some fun wildlife to watch. Really can’t say enough about the location-We were minutes from anything we could need-Wrinkled Egg and other restaurants were 5 minutes away-Walmart was less then 15 minutes !Best front porch with fan- watched a storm rolling and enjoyed the torrential rain and thunder from the cozy screened porch :) loved this place!

    Nice updated furnishings and clean accommodations. Beautiful grounds with a wonderful screened in porch overlooking a pond with wildlife. And just a perfect location to access all of the local sites - DuPont Forest, Asheville, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, etc. We will definitely be booking this location again!

    Beautiful Cottage in Flat Rock

    This is the second time we have stayed at this sweet cottage in Flat Rock. It has been renovated to the highest standard and is spotless and comfortable. We have never stayed anywhere that is better equipped than Cozy Pines and look forward to our next stay.

    The cottage was beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Perfect serene setting. Literally appeared so clean and well maintained you could eat off of the manicured lawn. The beautiful pond view from the screened in porch was a bonus. Highly recommend this property. Thank you!!

    Picture perfect

    The sweetest cottage in a lovely location! Beautiful kitchen with open plan and 2 comfy bedrooms with really nice bed linens and a new “spa like” bathroom with large shower. The screened porch was so special… morning coffee, relaxing in the afternoon and evening cocktails. Everything was better than we expected. Would definitely stay again and stay longer. We loved it!

    Great location in Flat Rock, close to restaurants and great location to explore Hendersonville, and Asheville area. House was unbelievably renovated with all the modern updates while keeping with its original cottage look. Has a well furnished front screened porch that overlooks the pond in the front yard. Would recommend with no hesitation.

    Flat Rock Getaway

    The property is perfectly located right off Greenville Highway and just a short ride to town. The surrounding neighborhoods are new and provide a great outlet to walk around and explore. The property is brand new and was spotless. Both bedrooms are very comfy as well! The owners, who live on property next door were extremely friendly and we only saw once during our stay. The house was taken down to the studs recently and really was even better than the pictures listed. We loved sitting on the screened porch and looking at the pond. Thanks for having us!

    Nice and Comfortable

    A very clean, well appointed house with a wonderful porch over looking a nice calming pond. A couple of issues; wrong door code and erronous wi-fi password were resolved with calls to management. Also, driving directions had the property adjacent to the wrong gate neighborhood...it's Berwick, not Kemore!

    The reason I did not leave a 5 star review is because of several attempts to fix the TV and no one at VRBO took it seriously... until I texted the owners (whom I know) and they contacted VRBO. NONE of my messages that had very clear instructions on what was required were passes along to the local VRBO staff. When the tech arrived, he had no idea what was wrong or what I had informed VRBO over the prior 3 days.

    Hurricane Helene

    This is at least the fifth time I’ve posted a review and/or communicated about the fact that these dates encompasses Hurricane Helene’s deadly path into the exact area of our VRBO. To think that no refund is even a consideration, even a partial one, still astounds me. We did not travel due to the storm and never set foot in the rental.
