Great cabin and private location. Host was very helpful before and during stay. Felt like we made a new friend. Would stay again. Close to Hendersonville and alot of nice places
Absolutely magical stay! This beautiful private log cabin was cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated with vintage touches. We loved the fresh eggs each morning, feeding the goats, and playing with the cats and kittens. Ruby and Ann were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday extra special! We can’t wait to come back!

The property and cabin was beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and the anniversary gift was a nice touch. It was fun to feed the goats. We will be back - hopefully for a longer stay.
Hosts were awesome. Place was so much better than even the pictures. The goats and chickens were super cool. The outdoor fireplace was incredible. Recommend to anyone looking for mountain getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin! It was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting was private and peaceful, surrounded by nature. One of the highlights was definitely the friendly goats and chickens nearby—they added such a fun, wholesome touch to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and unwind in a quiet, comfortable spot.
We had a great time. The owner was really accommodating and the photos don’t do the place justice. It was peaceful and relaxing! Thank you for sharing your place!!!
Absolutely perfect. The cabin and location were exactly as described. The host just happened to be checking on the goats as we arrived they were very welcoming we had a nice chat. They offered us fresh eggs! My wife loved the goats we had to take them snacks each morning or she wouldn't let us keave for the day. We can't wait to return.
Absolutely incredible! We enjoyed every minute, from the peaceful surroundings to the animals and everything in between. This property is impeccable, quiet, and wonderfully peaceful. The owners are an absolute joy and so helpful. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful, secluded cabin, yet close to many of the attractions in Asheville, Lake Lure, and DuPont State Forest. The chickens and goats on site were a special treat! Rudy is an excellent host and did everything to ensure a wonderful visit!
This cabin was just as advertised and more. Host and friends were wonderful. Constantly surprised every morning. So tucked away and private and we were able to catch a nice buck and doe on our last night. Birds and squirrels just hanging out while having our morning coffee. We will be back soon.

Why they chose this property
Always wanted to build a log cabin and furnished with antiques and collectibles from family and friends, after retirement we were able to finish this item on the bucket list. We hope guests enjoy it as much as we did building and furnishing.
