With great craftsmanship and skill, combined with the use of old building materials and the artful restoration of nearly the entire interior, a retreat has been created that offers a wonderful sense of comfort and tranquility. This approximately 160-year-old log cabin, typical of the Spreewald region and designated a historic landmark, was preserved in accordance with preservation guidelines and professionally restored to a high standard using natural materials. The traditional Spreewald living room was completely preserved, and straw-clay plaster serves as both exterior and interior insulation. The vacation home also features two bathrooms with showers and toilets, as well as an additional separate toilet. Final cleaning, bed linens, dish towels, electricity, gas, water, and firewood are included in the final price.
