Dog (NO CATS) and family friendly The cozy space features a private room with queen bed and a living room with a queen sofa bed, full kitchen, private full bathroom with washer dryer, cable tv and internet, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure at the many local springs, scalloping, fishing, manatee viewing, excellent area restaurants, or just lounging poolside or playing shuffle board. Covered front porch for relaxing and even a gas bbq grill. Crystal River also offers great kayaking and numerous state parks with miles of hiking and biking trails. Located only an hour from Tampa and less then 2 hours from all major theme parks there's something for everyone! Yard is large enough to accommodate boat parking for all your fishing, scalloping, or manatee adventures. Other park amenities include fitness area, basketball court, horseshoes, hot tub, large clubhouse with pool table and darts, pavilion, and even a playground! Long term winter stays available as well.

My husband and I were so pleased with our stay at Lazy Lizard! I was a little hesitant at first to stay in an RV Resort but from the minute we entered it we were impressed. It was peaceful, clean and welcoming and the trees and landscaping made for wonderful walks with our dog. The location of the property was so convenient to restaurants, activities, stores and fuel in both Homosassa and Crystal River. Our hosts Jeremy and Lisa have done a great job decorating their VRBO home. The front porch is cute with Adirondack chairs and flower boxes on the rail. It was a great place to sit and read in the mornings. The interior was very clean and decorated with a tropical flair and appointed with nice furniture and linens. The queen bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water and the A/C worked great.We spoke with Jeremy the day of our arrival and he was so helpful with questions we had about the area and he continued to be very thoughtful throughout our stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we even added a day. We highly recommend a stay at the Lazy Lizard for anyone visiting the Crystal River area. You won't be disappointed!
