Nice, light 3-room apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, 1 shower bath, separate WC and loggia. Renovated in 2010 on the 7th floor (elevator) with a view of the Sony centre and Potsdamer Platz. The entire living area is equipped with parquet, kitchen, bathroom and WC with tiles. The living room with cable (flat-screen) TV, Blu-Ray player, stereo, internet and telephone (both flat-rate) has a dining space for 6 people, a comfortable sofa bed and a book shelf with information about Berlin and thrilling literature for rainy days. In the south-facing loggia you will find a covered corner to sit. The kitchen is completely equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, stove with extraction, oven, fridge with separate freezer, coffee machine, water cooker and toaster. Dishes, utensils for 12 people and cooking utensils round off the comfort. You can leave your car in the garage, the new centre of Berlin, at the point between City-West and City-East is 1300m away.

Relaxation and sport: Despite the central location, there is a lot of green space nearby, for example, Am Karlsbad, the Mendelsohn-Bartholdy-Park and above all the zoo invite you to go walking, jogging and hiking. We recommend the paths along the Spree and by the Landwehrkanal, where you can enjoy views of the government district. Alternatively, you can also go on a cruise, which offers a lot of different tours.

Quiet oasis with easy access

This was a great apartment - especially sharing with our daughter. The two bedrooms were spacious and quiet. Access to the U-Bahn and bus made anything in the city so easy to find. On the top floor, so the elevator was appreciated (except the last day when it was out of order).

Die lage der wohnung ist sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Schön eingerichtet, hat viel platz um das gepäck zu verräumen, ist hell und geräumig. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nice little apartment in a good area near to shops and public transport. Apartment was warm and comfortable and clean, and the beds were a good quality. Ute was a nice host who met us personally and made sure we were settled in. We would suggest that providing a few staple provisions in the apartment - such as dishwasher tablets and more than a single roll of toilet paper would be helpful. Other than that though the apartment was wonderful and we enjoyed our time a lot.

good location, lovely city view, big rooms

Ute, was an attentive hostess. We were able to bring our luggage over early, while she was cleaning after the previous stay. The apartment had some basic food items, such as coffee and filters, that was nice. Very close to the U1.

The apartment is on a low-traffic street, 100m from the house you will find the subway and bus station Kurfürstenstr, with the line 1 leading directly to the Ku'Damm. Bülowstr. can also be reached quickly with subway line 2. In and around Potsdamer Str. you will find shops for your everyday needs and cafes and restaurants. On foot you can reach the Wintergarten-Varieté, the culture forum with the new national gallery, art industrial museum, painting gallery, federal library, philharmonics and chamber music hall and the diverse cultural facilities around the Potsdamer Platz, where the Berlinale also occurs. Here you will find cinemas (the Cinestar in the Sony Centre plays original versions) and the theatre museum, the Stella Musical Theatre and the Bluemax Theatre where the Blue Men Group performs.
