About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

Wir waren im Mai einige Tage Gäste im Chalet 246 in Enkhuizen und mit der Unterkunft absolut zufrieden. Die Einrichtung des Chalets ist liebevoll und durchdacht. Die Lage ist mit Blick auf das IJsselmeer super. Der Garten ist eingezäunt und groß genug, so dass unsere Hündin unbekümmert toben und spielen konnte. Eine kurzfristige Verlängerung der Reise war problemlos möglich. Wir, und v.a. auch unserer Hündin, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr gut im Park gelegen, schöne Aussicht aufs Ijsselmer, da Haus in 3. Reihe liegt. Grundstück vollkommen eingezäunt, daher sehr gut für Hunde geeignet. Enkhuizen innerorts sehr viele kleine, enge Straßen und Einbahnstraßen, so dass das NAVI teilweise "überfordert" war, weil es Tagesbaustellen und geänderte Fahrtrichtungen (Einbahnstraßen) gab. Es gibt einen Brötchenservice im Park, der allerdings erst ab h 9:00 liefert. Die mitgeteilten Bauaktivitäten im Park haben nicht gestört bzw. haben wir keine wahrgenommen. Das Haus liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Deich, so dass mit Hund herrliche Spaziergänge vor Ort unternommen werden konnten.

Das Chalet war sehr toll. Allerdings hatten wir Schwierigkeiten die Temperatur für die Heizung ein..

Das Chalet war sehr toll. Allerdings hatten wir Schwierigkeiten die Temperatur für die Heizung einzustellen. Wir haben zwar die Bedienungsanleitungen gefunden, waren aber dennoch etwas verzweifelt, weil es nicht richtig funktioniert hat. Vielleicht könnte man dazu nochmal eine kleine kurze Anleitung zurechtlegen. Zudem hatten wir eine zweite Rolle Toilettenpapier als Nachschub im Bad, die sehr an das Raststätten-Toilettenpapier erinnert hat (einlagig, grau und hat keinerlei "Flüssigkeit" aufgesaugt). Wir haben dann noch Toilettenpapier nachgekauft, damit wir richtig auf Toilette gehen konnten. Aber das ist "meckern" auf hohem Niveau :) das sind wirklich nur die einzigen beiden Dinge, die uns "negativ" aufgefallen sind. Ansonsten war alles hervorragend und wir haben euch auch schon weiter empfohlen :)
