The pool also has a small slide for the little ones. About 6 km outside Gajana is the medieval town of Vodnjan, where you can still admire Baroque, Renaissance and Gothic architecture in the town center. Everywhere you look you can see many details from different eras, such as wooden doors, stone facades and wrought iron decorations on fountains. Typical old and narrow Istrian streets paved with stone lead to the church, which has the highest church tower in all of Istria. As Istria has good transport connections, you can hop in the car and go on an excursion at any time. After a short drive of 20 to 40 minutes through the beautiful countryside, you will reach the large coastal towns of Pula, Rovinj and Porec. All three towns are ancient cities from Roman times, where you can explore many historical monuments, such as the amphitheater in Pula, the Euphrasian Basilica in Porec or the Church of St. Euphemia in Rovinj.
