Location & Views: The location of this property is unbeatable. It is an easy, short walk to both Lake Brienz & the train station, making day trips & getting around incredibly convenient. Walk to local restaurants & grocery. You can even see the lake right from the patio.Accommodations & Amenities: The apartment provided adequate space for our 4 with a simple, comfortable layout that suited our needs well. Having an in-unit washer & dryer was great, but usage is restricted between 8 PM & 8 AM. Since we were out exploring during the day, we could barely use them—it would be helpful if this rule were in the listing. Additionally, there was only 1 fan provided for the bedrooms during an active heatwave. We reached out to ask for a 2nd fan, but that request went unanswered.Cleanliness & Service:The main drawback was the cleanliness & the host would benefit from switching to a new cleaning service. On arrival, we found crumbs in the kitchen cabinets & bread box, a dishwasher filter that needed cleaning & had an odor, stray hairs in the kitchen & bathroom sinks, & lint & debris on the floors. The shower needed a deeper clean, bedding had stray hairs & one comforter was stained. We also were not initially provided enough towels for 4 guests. The host did deliver extra towels & a fresh comforter while we were out after we requested them, but overall cleanliness fell short.Overall: Great location & functional space, but improved cleaning is needed to reach its full potential.

Garden suite is close to the train station and to the grocery store. Ground floor suite which was cool during a heatwave. Very convenient location. If you are cooking meals the kitchen is not well equipped.

Nice apartment, very close to train station, friendly staff, and easy to get in. Only thing one need to be aware is , there is quiet a time where you can not operate laundry machine or dryer. So check it out and plan accordingly.
