The house was perfect with lots of room for our family. A great place to relax by the lake. Our family spent a lot of time kayaking on the lake.

The lake house has a very comfortable and relaxed vibe. Plenty of room for our group of ten (6 adults, 4 teen/pre-teen kids). Lots of water toys and yard games.It’s not trying to be fancy and doesn’t need to be.Fairly priced.We stayed there 3 years ago and chose to come back for another week this year.

Beautiful home on a lovely lake

We are a large family & were on vacation together for the first time. This rental was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The garage area was an added bonus. We loved swimming & made use of the kayak. It was a wonderful vacation enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend this rental! The evening sky was spectacular.

House was great

My stay was only for a few days, a long weekend with 10 other guys for a fishing trip. The house was more then I expected larger then the pictures let on. All the bedrooms are spacious and have great views. Caught some nice sized bass on the back dock. Would rent again.

Beautiful location right on Lake

Very nice house but could use some updating. Owner was VERY attentive for a few issues we had in house. Lots of extras to use at the house that are in the garage area. Lots of area for kids to play. Dollar General close by for Grocery needs.

Fantastic to get-away from city.

Spent three nights at the Private Family Lake house on Cayuga Lake in finger lakes,over the graduation ceremony memorial long weekend. All in all a very good, older charming large home on a gentle sloping acreage on beautiful Cayga Lake. Spectacular sunsets, firepits and deck chairs. Quick and close to the town center and next to other spacious lots . No Modern rooms, slightly smallish bathrooms, decent kitchen equiped breakfast and bbq dinner Not profoundly outstanding but definitely a place I would recommend.

Perfect!!

We loved the place!!! It was a perfect place to have my 50th bday celebration with 11 of my girlfriends!! The place is huge!! So much room to hang out and play games and eat and do a blind wine tasting. Also so much room to sleep comfortably. The host was so responsive and accommodating thank you so much for making my weekend perfect!!! I said I wished it was my home several times!! :) we cooked out one night, had a fire pit, made a big breakfast and had fun fun fun!!!!

Beautiful Birthday Celebration

My family stayed for a week to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday during the last week of July 2023. We had ample room for all of the families and the extra space in the garage was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable, the rooms are large and the kitchen had everything we could need. There was plenty of outdoor furniture and games and activities to keep everyone occupied. The level walk to the lake was a rare treat since so many lake properties are elevated. The launch was a nice surprise as we did a lot of kayaking and swimming. We have rented several times on Cayuga Lake and the water has never been so warm! We went on a few hikes and visited the State Parks nearby as well as the shops and restaurants in Aurora. It was a terrific week, thank you!

Spacious and Comfortable

We had plenty of room here for 7 adults and 2 children. The large, carpeted living room was great for the children to play in and there is a door you can close on the ground floor to block access to the stairway. We appreciated the air conditioning and having one bedroom on the ground floor with the full bathroom next to it. When even more family came over, we were able to set up for dinner outside as there is so much outdoor furniture in the garage. We rented a boat from the near- by marina, which added to the fun. The kitchen is comfortable for cooking with plenty of counter space. We also appreciated the large refrigerator with ice maker. It was very nice that so many little things were provided, like dish soap, spare toothbrushes and so on. We enjoyed our week here very much in scenic Union Springs by beautiful Cayuga Lake.

Great place for family gathering

We had a family gathering of 2 grandparents, 4 parents, and 4 kids ages 7-14. The house is surprisingly spacious inside - more so than it looks like from the outside. The house worked very well - multiple comfortable spaces inside people could gather, have work/quiet space, and eat. The bedrooms upstairs are great for sleeping - largely insulated from downstairs noise, and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking big family meals. The big lawn down to the water was great for games. The dock is a bit rickety but worked great for fishing off of. The rest of the waterfront probably needs some repair soon as it is falling/leaning away into the water. The small "beach" was kind of choked up with flotsam and plant growth, but that might be because it was still early season and they hadn't had a chance to clean it up yet - it was still fine for getting our kayaks and SUP in and out of the water. All in all, we had a fabulous time here, and would definitely return for another family reunion!

Comfortable, clean and everything you need

We rented the house for a bachelorette/ wedding party weekend. There were 10 of us and we all had plenty of space. Everyone said that their beds were good and everyone slept well. Kitchen has plenty of counter space to make meals. Lots of utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen items. The living room is very spacious and a big tv for movies. Garage has plenty of chairs, cornhole, another couch area with tv and lots of life vests. Listing mentions 2 kayaks but there was only one and it needs to be repaired. Overall, everyone had a great time and we had everything that we needed. Would recommend! 👍 👍

Family vacation

House was clean and bigger than the pictures show. Yard was nice size to play with the kids. Overall we liked our stay. We had a boat and the convenience of Frontenac boat launch being close by was nice. Property owner was very punctual in responding to my questions. The only negative I would say was I wish the property owner gave me an email prior to coming for check in instructions at least 24 hrs ahead of our arrival so we could of planned sooner but I know why he chose to wait until a few hours before we arrived. I just like to be a little more assured of things before I go somewhere to stay. Lots of chairs supplied so don’t bring any. Boat dock could use a little maintenance but very usable. Overall we would stay here again.

Great Lakefront Property

Very nice home and lakefront property on a peaceful, quiet lake. The house is much bigger than it looks online and outside. The lawn is huge and there's a great fire pit down by the water. I would stay here again!
