5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath Home In Cape Shores On Lewes, Delaware Bay
About Kelly Cofrancisco
8 Sandpiper Ct. is owned by the Cofrancisco family who has been vacationing in Lewes for more than three decades. Our family started out camping in Cape Henlopen State Park and has vacationed in many neighborhoods in Lewes over the years and eventually bought the lot at 8 Sandpiper Ct. in the early 1990s.
Kelly Cofrancisco purchased this House in 2013
Why Kelly Cofrancisco chose Lewes
Cape Shores is a great community with a family-friendly feel and its close proximity to Cape Henlopen State Park is what sold us! Building this beach house has been a dream of ours for years.
What makes this House unique
8 Sandpiper is one of the few rental properties within Cape Shores that is located on a cul-de-sac, which is great for children. This property was newly built in 2013 and is one of the few new construction homes available for rent. The neighborhood is the last stop before Cape Henlopen State Park, making it the closest you can get to the park!

Extraordinary beach house!
We had such a fabulous week here in June. There were 9 of us and we all were so impressed with the comfort and gorgeous decor. Location is great too. Thanks so much. We hope to return sometime! 5 stars are not enough.
The house was great and truly in an ideal location. We made good use of the sun room and deck, enjoying breakfast each day outside. Easy access to the beach and we even found 4 beach chairs to use!
Was a wonderful experience. No issues. Fully furnished. Very clean! We will be back
Thanks for staying with us Judy! We would love to have you come back!
The spacious layout of this house was perfect for 11 women on a long weekend away. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large, there was plenty of seating areas both inside and out, the reverse floor plan was fantastic for those who wanted to sleep in a little longer, and the openness of the garage made playing outdoor games possible despite some rainy weather. The house was decorated so tastefully and the luxury of the master bath ensuite had me feeling pampered and relaxed! The owners of the property were very nice and very accommodating, and it was obvious that they took great pride in their property. It was an easy walk to the bay and the pier, and we enjoyed the walking trails in and around Camp Henlopen. We made many memories we will never forget in a home that was truly perfect!

Exceptional vacation home
This home has everything we needed. Bedrooms are laid out well and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. The kitchen is well equipped. Easy walk to a beach is perfect for the little ones. Overall a great place.
The City of Lewes, Delaware is located where the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet, in an area known as Cape Henlopen. The naturally beautiful area with beaches on both the ocean and the bay, trails, and nature preserves add to the many reasons to visit this small historic town founded by the Dutch in 1631. In addition to natural beauty, this charming city offers a wonderful historic district, with architecture dating back to the 17th century, museums, special tours, cozy accommodations, restaurants to please any palate, and unique shops and local boutiques all within walking distance of each other. There is something for everyone - year 'round including fun educational activities and tours, live music and theater, outdoor activities, an independent film festival, an award-winning farmers market, and so much more!
8 Sandpiper is approximately 1.5 miles from the historic district of the City of Lewes, Delaware. To get into town, take an easy scenic bike ride down the wide shoulders Cape Henlopen Drive, turn left on Savannah Road and head into town for a stop at our favorite ice cream spot, King’s Ice Cream or enjoy a margarita and some guacamole at Agave Mexican Restaurant, another one of our favorites.
