It was amazing, super well equipped, short walk from perfectly warm pool, & cute little restaraunts.
The planned community of Loreto Bay is so safe, and well maintained. The gardens are perfectly manicured, and you can walk to everything you need. It is a bit of a drive/taxi ride (300 pesos) from town, and feels more like La Jolla or another fancy beach town in California that a little Mexican fishing village. We did go explore the town of Loreto, and it also felt very safe and is beautiful. Also the snorkeling and whale watching was fantastic!! We saw blue whales in Sea of Cortez, and grey whales with babies in Magdalena Bay. Quite a magical place!
Beautiful casa in an amazing location!
This place is fantastic! Our first trip to Loreto Bay was in May, it was our first vacation with our 9 month old baby and we were looking for a family friendly spot without crowds that still offered plenty of activities and adventure. We were not disappointed. This is a beautiful Casa, our favorite part was the outdoor bed, a great place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the mountains every night. It was just a short walk (or golf cart ride) to the beach, pools, and dining. The resort and surrounding village are very clean and well cared for.
There was plenty to do, aside from enjoying the beach (which we had to ourselves most of the time) and the pools. We snorkeled, rented paddle boards, played golf (beautiful golf course!), and left the village several times to explore the surrounding area. We got out for a hike one day and at the recommendation of a few of the locals, stopped at the clam shack right on the beach for lunch afterward for some great authentic Mexican food.....highly recommend it.
The property manager and concierge were awesome, getting us whatever we needed including bikes, golf cart, even a car seat for our son which they had waiting for us at the airport!
We have recommended this home to several friends already. The area is safe, pristine, and authentic, and we are already planning a return trip next year.
The Loreto Bay Community is a very safe, friendly neighborhood with security guards patrolling 24 hours. It is 9km from the town of Loreto, and has become a village itself, with beautiful shops, restaurants, spas, an eco-tour office, and a small grocery store. Our vacation rental homes are all within a 4 minute walk to the beach, and you'll have access to all that the community has to offer: three pools, tennis courts, gyms, yoga classes, and one of Mexico's best golf courses. Loreto is part of a protected National Marine Park, with gorgeous islands to visit, amazing snorkeling and scuba diving, whale watching, and phenomenal fishing year round.
