Nauti Kennebunkportin parhaat puolet oman merenrantakohteesi yksityisyydestä. Tarkkaile auringonnousua valtameren yli kupin kahvia takakannella, kävele pitkin rantaa, pelaa tennistä omalla yksityisellä tenniskentällä, anna lasten leikkiä omalla takapihalla sijaitsevalla keinuvipulla, uida omassa lämmitettyssä uima-altaassa ja lopeta päivä rentouttavalla juomalla kallioterassilla merinäköalalla. Tutustu Mainen rannikon luonnollisiin ihmeisiin ja syö muutamissa parhaimmissa Mainen ravintoloissa simpukoista ja hummeritaloista hienoihin ruokailuihin paikoissa, kuten White Barn Inn ja Hurricane.

Vuosisadan puolivälissä sijaitseva moderni talo sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla ottamaan henkeäsalpaavat 180 asteen merinäkymät. Jokaisesta huoneesta on suora merinäköala - valo lattiasta kattoon ulottuvilla ikkunoilla on uskomatonta! Yleisissä tiloissa on avoin pohjaratkaisu, joka ulottuu keittiöstä ruokasaliin olohuoneeseen. Hyvin varusteltu gourmet-keittiö on hiljattain remontoitu, ja sen mukana toimitetaan graniitti työtasot, Bosch-mallisto, mikroaaltouuni, jääkaappi / pakastin, astianpesukone ja Butlers-ruokakomero. Keittiö aukeaa ruokasaliin, johon mahtuu 10 ihmistä mukavasti, ja sieltä on laaja näkymä merelle. Olohuone on aivan ruokasalin vieressä ja sisältää suuren taulu-HDTV: n HD-kaapelilla, DVD, CD, surround-kaiutinjärjestelmä ja puulämmitteinen takka.

Jokaisessa viidessä makuuhuoneessa on suora merinäköala. Yksityinen Master-sviitti on yläkerrassa, ja siinä on king-vuode, oma kylpyhuone erillisellä suihkulla sateenpäällä ja erillinen kylpyamme, josta on merinäköala, ja erillinen olohuone, jossa on taulu-HDTV. Pohjakerroksessa on kolme makuuhuonetta. Yhdessä on queen-vuode, kylpyhuone suihkulla. On king-makuuhuone ja siihen liitetty kylpyhuone, jossa on suihku / amme. Pohjakerroksen jäljellä olevassa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja kylpyhuone, jossa on suihku / amme. Alakerrassa on myös ylimääräinen makuuhuone, jossa parisänky, uloskäynti pääsy talon valtameren puolelle.

Perfect week on the Maine Coast with family

We have a very active family and this house with tennis/pickleball court, heated pool, kayak, bikes, swing set, games and puzzles was wonderful. Unbeatable views of the ocean from every room. We had a great time, utilized the kayak, heated pool, bikes, tennis courts and of course walks among the rocks and beach. Lots of room for everyone, enough room to spread out yet be together. We ate out at Arundel wharf restaurant in Kennybunkport and Pier 77 in Cape Porpoise, both casual dining with great service. Shopped at Bradbury Market and found everything we needed to cook in. John - your home is beautiful - thanks for your hospitality.

Great House- Idyllic Spot!

Wow! What a beautiful idyllic spot. We had a group of all ages and none of us wanted to leave. The information provided by the owner was so helpful and made our week easy and enjoyable. Owner was also available and responded quickly to our questions. The views are spectacular and we all felt restored after such a nice vacation where we swam, kayaked, played tennis, relaxed and cooked many memorable meals in the fabulous kitchen.

An Incredible Home and Amazing Experience

We rented John’s home for the most incredible 40th birthday weekend I could have ever shared with my family. Communication with him was perfect and the house was so amazing with the pool, tennis, kids play set and ocean back drop, that we could have just stayed there the whole time and enjoyed it. I have been blessed to travel to many luxury hotels over my life but this was a truly amazing experience bar none. Thank you again John!

The place is lovely and splendid views. Clean and well managed. The two bedrooms on first floor southside are great for kids but difficult for older adults. Attempted to reach owner when electricity went out on Wednesday and again on Friday as we left one day early due to Hurricane Lee. I could not reach him. Did enjoy the stay and the helpful guides for dining ect.

Best Family Vacation Spot!

We spent a week at John's home with our family and cousins. 4 kids ages 3-9. This couldn't have been a more perfect location for our family. The house is beautiful - pictures don't do it justice. And the property seems unmatched in the area. You can watch the kids do all activities from the kitchen or back porch. There is direct access to the beach - no need to cross a road. I think you'd be hard pressed to find another house with this access. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the upstairs master bath was just redone and is gorgeous - everyone took baths there! Kitchen is fully stocked with any utensil or pot you could possibly imagine. And everything was clean! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family spot with young kids. We spent hours just playing in the yard and beach - on the swing set, hunting for crabs, games on the tennis court. And of course swimming. A+++

One of a kind property

This property is astounding. The views of the ocean are beautiful, and falling asleep to the sound of the surf was a true pleasure. For our group (5 adults, 5 kids under age 7) it was perfect. The pool is fenced, and the tennis court was great for scooters and tricycles (which we brought with us). The swing set on the ocean was lovely. There was endless entertainment with walking the rocks, and we rather liked having the follow the schedule of the tides to determine our beach time each day. John was very attentive from afar via text and email, and the information left with the property about where to shop and dine was very helpful. Depending on the group you are traveling with, one thing to know is that the master suite (which has the trundle bed room adjacent) is much nicer than the other rooms—especially the bathroom. It was all recently updated while the other bathrooms have not been updated. Being directly on the ocean, as you might imagine, the moisture can be quite intense on humid days. There was mold on one shower curtain (owner reported it would be replaced) and the closet adjacent to the bedroom with twin beds had a very strong smell of mold, which at times travelled to the main living space. Most in our party didn’t notice it unless they literally stood right in front of it, but the person sleeping in the closest bedroom has compromised lungs and did get a significant cough during our stay. Like I said—not enough to bother a regular, healthy individual, but something to consider if you have a guest with related health issues. The master suite was completely fine and the “driest” in the house. Lastly, the kitchen was recently redone and has great appliances. Overall, we would have liked to see the house cleaned a little more deeply—we did stay at the end of the high season, however. Again, however, a very special property.

I grew up on the east coast and vacationed throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic as a kid. When we had kids, we decided to look in Maine for a vacation house and fell in love with Kennebunkport. The coast is so beautiful here and its easily accessible by car or plane via Portland. Our house offers the perfect blend of quiet along with tons of activities right from our home. We now have three kids and the best part is watching them grow up here and seeing them explore all that living by the ocean offers.

The unique feature of our home is the feeling of solitude you get sitting on the back deck or down at the beach. You feel like you're the only one out there, except for the seals, cormorants, and seagulls passing by the shore. Yet there are so many wonderful things to do, from swimming in the pool and ocean, playing tennis, wiffle ball and football with kids on the beach, fishing, kayaking, and biking to name a few. The house is well-situated to host family get-togethers. Many of our renters are grandparents who want to get their extended families together in one house. Groups of adults -- be it a girls group, travel club or just good friends -- also work well in the house with five separate bedrooms, four of which have their own bathroom. Kennebunkport has many fun activities for children and adults. The food in Kennebunkport is outstanding too, whether you're cooking fresh seafood at home or enjoying the fine restaurants in town or in Portland.
