About the property

3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Mountain Views

This is a great 3 bedroom 2 bath home in the Pitchfork neighborhood of Mt. Crested Butte. A short 1 minute walk to the free shuttle to the base area of the mountain or about a mile drive. The town of Crested Butte is an easy 3 mile drive South. The recreation path that separates the 2 towns is just about 1/4 mile away.

The home is set up with the living, dining, and kitchen on the 2nd floor. The living room has a gas fireplace to warm you after a day on the slopes and a fully equipped kitchen to create your own meals. There is also a flatscreen TV with surround sound and Directv on this level. This home offers beautiful views to the west out over the Washington Gulch area as well as to the East where you can see the famous steeps of Mt. Crested Butte. It is on the fence line so you have no one behind you with unimpeded views.

On the main level of the home you have a bunk bed in the front bedroom with a twin on top and a double bed on the bottom. There is also a second bedroom on this floor with a queen bed. These 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom.

On the lowest level of the floor is a sub-floor/basement level that is completely finished. There is another queen bed here with a flatscreen tv with surround sound, there is a Playstation with that TV that can also play DVD's and its connected to DirecTv. Also on that level is a full bathroom with shower and a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer.

The house also has a 1 car garage with plenty of storage for your gear.

This is a fantastic house, a great place to create some amazing memories while you enjoy all that the Crested Butte area has to offer.

The 6th night free promotion is offered Fall, Winter and Spring N/A Xmas/New Years, President's Weekend, Spring Break. A 7th night free is offered for the Summer n/a 4th of July week.

Cute house with amazing views

  • 4 of 5

Great house convenient to the mountain and close to the shuttle to downtown. Beautiful views! Well appointed. The only downside was that there wasn't much outside space and the dining area was cramped. But we had a great time and greatly enjoyed staying in the pitchfork neighborhood. The views of the stars off the second bedroom were amazing!

beauty all around

  • 5 of 5

Wonderfully located, comfortable furnishings and beautiful surroundings. We biked to and from downtown, hiked or biked everyday on the numerous trails. It was great that the bus shuttle is right at the corner so we didn't need to use our car very much. We had 6 Adults inside and it was cozy, but really, it was so great here we were hardly ever inside!

FANTABAHOOBIE!!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic house. We had come for just a short trip (Son's graduation from Western)and we chose this property because we knew that our trip would have a lot of built in hang around time and we wanted something "better" than a hotel. Let me tell you this place hit a homerun.

VERY comfortable, has everything that you need, GREAT location. My 12 year old loved the steam shower in the basement, and morning coffee on the balcony was also very nice. For once the pictures on the website are EXACTLY what you get . Come for the wildflower festival but stay in Pitchfork.

Nice Place

  • 4 of 5

Nice home for a weekend getaway in Mt. Crested Butte. Access to the bike trail and ski lifts was convenient as well. Overall, the property was in very good condition but short on a few common sense things such as paper towels, windex, etc to help keep it clean after each meal. I would plan another weekend there.

Owner's Response: We don't typically stock much in the way of cleaning products but we do keep you fully stocked of paper towels, tp, dish soap, pump soap, trash bags, dish detergent and laundry detergent to keep you from having to bring these items with you. All you need to do is place a call to us if you run out..
