Overview

About the property

3 Bedrooms, Soaker Tub, Across The Road From Tofino's Best Surfing Beach.

Tofino Tree House was built in 2006 with the lumber harvested from the property and milled onsite. This unique house was hand crafted by local artisans. Located on an acre of coastal rainforest, this west coast timber frame home offers 2 bedrooms plus a semi-open sleeping loft, and can accommodate six adults.

The kitchen's focal point is the organic concrete table with seating for six. It comes fully equipped with all culinary needs, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas oven.

Take your cooking outside on the 1000 square foot wrap around deck with a barbecue, or have an evening out around the fire pit.

Enjoy the heated wet-room, relaxing in the big soaker tub, (constructed from a surgical pasteurizer), with a view of the forest through the double glass doors, or swing the doors open to enjoy the fresh forest air!

About Kaeli Robinsong

My husband Jason and I (Kaeli) moved to Tofino in 2009, as we wanted to live somewhere with a strong sense of community, where we could raise a family and surf year round. We opened up a food truck called Tacofino and have been living the dream ever since! Our daughter Leni Shalom was born in January 2013 and we are madly in love with her. We live on the property, (on the other side of the trees), and will be happy to answer any of your questions, give recommendations, or point you in the right direction!

Kaeli Robinsong purchased this house in 2011

Why Kaeli Robinsong chose Tofino

We love this this property for its unique and beautiful structures, lush vegetation, privacy, proximity to the beach, and awesome neighbours throughout the forest!

What makes this house unique

Tofino tree house is tucked in the rainforest that spans the distance between the Pacific west coast, and the inlet side of the peninsula. It is just across the road from Cox Bay, so the surf is a 5 minute walk from the doorstep. This is a truly unique and very private home with 3 queen sized beds (plus a single fold-out if needed), one bathroom, cozy living room with flatscreen cable tv, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, dish washer and full sized fridge, heated floors throughout, and a heated slate wet room with shower and giant soaker tub. Outside, enjoy the sprawling, wraparound deck with sunken fire pit and bbq, surrounded by cedar trees, but only a short walk from the beach.

Magical treehouse

  • 5 of 5

A magical oasis in the forest for 6 friends. We didn't want to leave! We loved the heated floors, wrap around deck and of course, the cedar tub. Kaeli was such a great host and her kids were so cute. Hi Leni and Dove!

Beautiful House

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I stayed for a week in this lovely house and really enjoyed our time there. I love that the house is completely surrounded by forest and very private. It's about a 15 minute walk to Cox Bay where one of my friends took surfing lessons. I enjoy walking so I walked to Tofino a few times which took about an hour on a paved path. We rented bikes not far from the house. I would have liked to have stayed longer and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. The only thing that we missed were beach chairs/umbrella for the beach. We ended up spending a lot of time at the house because the kitchen had everything we needed to cook so we could prepare our own meals. Also, it was just so comfortable there!

Super deluxe, cozy ,cedar , craftsman cabin .

  • 5 of 5

The setting, the design and the finished work on this charming dwelling were the perfect base for our trip to Tofino. We met some of the creators of this unique property and enjoyed hearing about the details that went into its creation. Needless to say the bath tub was a favorite. Booking and support for our stay was flawless. All the basic needs were available at the cabin with plenty of food options nearby. We would love to visit again next time we find ourselves on the edge of the North Pacific.

Incredible.

  • 5 of 5

A gorgeous cabin that comfortably fit all seven of us! A beautifully constructed cabin with owners who are more than willing to be there for any questions you may have. We very much enjoyed our stay at this quiet, peaceful place. The hot tub is a great way to spend the evening with the glass doors open surrounded by the forest. Large kitchen with lots of counter space and beautiful views of the trees. Each bedroom is spacious and surrounded by large windows with stunning views of the forest. Reasonably priced for how nice the place is. It has a large awesome deck with a firepit right in the middle. Quick drive away from tofino which made trips into town super easy. We are super pleased with how everything went during are trip and are super pumped to go back! Would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin to anyone who wants to escape the busy hussle and bussle and relax in the best place on the west coast! Cheers!

Beautiful and comfortable home for a family

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay as a family in the rainforest setting. The house is very comfortable, the kitchen beautiful, the rooms are cozy and the tub a dream - a very cool and beautiful home. Our teen girls loved it, too. The owners are very respectful and private.

Thanks for sharing with us this great home.
