Completed in 2025, the Acqua Residences complex is located in one of the best locations in Funchal, on a cliff above Praia Formosa, and offers a unique view of the Atlantic Ocean. A highlight is the exclusive elevator that takes you directly to the Praia Formosa beach promenade (still under construction).

First, kudos to the host! In person welcoming and tour of the apartment and amenities. Incredible service throughout our stay. The apartment was just superb. Modern, spacious, extremely clean, and extremely well located and safe. Grocery store across the street, close to a shopping centre, and hop-on tour buses running just in front of the complex. Definitely highly recommend. The best rental experience we’ve had ever!

Our stay

Estrada monumental 267, apartment S on the 8 floor of 11 floor apartment building. This apartment is absolutely fabulous. This place lacks for nothing. You will find supreme cosmetics in both bathrooms, you will find supreme kitchen equipment. You will find virtually everything you need. Easy Access to everything. The last but not least, the owner of the apartment is a person who takes care of you at every single step of a booking process and later, making sure that you made your way safely to the apartment and back to the airport. If your flight is late and doesn't correspond with your check-out time, the owners will make it easy for you and adjust your check-out time accordingly. I recommend this place to everone who appreciate cleanliness, luxury and a feeling of being welcome.

We hebben het heel fijn gehad op madeira, mede dankzij het appartement waar absoluut niks aan ontbrak.Het is een heerlijk appartement, ontzettend schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Iedere slaapkamer een eigen badkamer met wc is ideaal.Het contact met de gastheren verliep erg prettig, ze waren betrokken, heel vriendelijk en beleefd.Het zwembad bij het appartement is fijn, de bedjes in het hoogseizoen vaak bezet maar een schaduwplek opzoeken onder een boom in het gras kan daar ook heel goed.Ons favoriete restaurant in de buurt was Hoyo Hoyo, maar er zijn genoeg leuke/lekkere restaurants op loopafstand te vinden.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt. Sie ist sehr sauber sowie umfangreich und modern augeststattet. Die Lage ist hervorragend, der Garten sehr gepflegt mit einem tollen Pool, von dem man einen gigantischen Blick auf das Meer hat. Die Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten und bewacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Grosszügiges, modernes Appartment, stilvoll mit Designermöbeln eingerichtet, mit Sonos Soundsystem,2 modernen Bädern etc. Das ganze Haus ist in sehr neuwertigem Zustand. Der Vermieter ist innerhalb von Minuten bei Fragen erreichbar gewesen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt, Bäcker und das nette Shoppingcenter Forum Madeira. Dort gibt es auch Taxis mit denen man f 10 Euro zur Funchal Marina fahren kann.

Schönste Madeira Erfahrung

Normalerweise fallen unsere Bewertungen eher kurz aus, aber in diesem Fall müssen wir eine positive Ausnahme machen. Besser hätte die Reise mit unserem einjährigen Baby nicht sein können. Wir hatten eine magische Zeit in diesem traumhaften Appartement auf Madeira! Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend – jeden Morgen konnten wir beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse den Blick auf die See genießen.Die Ausstattung lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen: alles ist sehr hochwertig, clean und sehr gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die gut ausgestattete Küche welche zum Kochen direkt einlädt, der traumhafte Garten, wo unsere Tochter am liebsten war und die Top Lage. Mit dem Mietwagen ca. 5 Minuten in die Innenstadt, Continente Supermarkt direkt gegenüber und die direkte Nähe zum Meer.Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und bietet ausreichend Platz, selbst wenn man zu mehreren reist wie wir. Das muss man wirklich nochmal erwähnen!! Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Komfort, Stil und eine tolle Lage möchten. Haben direkt für November wieder gebucht! :-)
