+The house is exactly as advertised. Beautiful and clean alot of room.
The pictures do no justice to what the house looks like in person. Jeff is very helpful and kind for your stay. We felt very comfortable like home way from home. Definitely coming back. So much to enjoy and do there. Having our boat launched right in front of us was great only steps away. Best Family Vacation ever.
Beautiful large home. Enough bedrooms for everyone. Kitchen was spacious, large refrigerator, fully equipped with everything you could need and I especially loved having the large pantry to store all the food and extra supplies. Six burner gas stove was great for faster food preparation.
The only downside for us were the stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms and downstairs to the game room. Definitely not senior or disabled friendly. More stairs than expected and the ones leading down to game/pool area spiral so you need to be careful. Would have preferred to have access to pool and game room on same level, but I was aware of this beforehand.
I would have given the house a 5 stars if not for the exception of the stairs, otherwise, a great house and good owner customer service.
River view outstanding and great dock launch if you have a boat or jet skis.
Great for younger families.
Incredible place with incredible views!
This house is just like the photos very nice! It truly is a incredible place with incredible views. We rented Jetskis and enjoyed the Colorado River. As well as, enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi and it’s beautiful views of the mountains and flowing river. We enjoyed the Beautiful birds and overall scenery. Early one morning (6am) I captured a photo of the full moon going down as the sun was rising. The mountains were glowing a brilliant pink and was so picturesque!
This incredibly large home is located in a nice neighborhood with convenient shopping nearby. We went to Slate of Laughlin-golf and country club for dinner and would highly recommend the short drive there for additional beautiful views and reasonable food. They also offer a spa services there . Additionally we went to the town of Oatmen and learned much about It’s history and our entire family wore cowboy hats and boots for a fun family photo with the donkeys in this town.
The master suite upstairs is the best because of EVERTHING it offers! Especially the large deck with gorgeous views, plus it’s incredible walk-in closet space, plush carpeting, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, huge shower and private toilet closet.
As far as for the negatives: I will say initially I booked this place because the listing states (under its amenities) it is handicap accessible and also mentions being pet friendly. Yet it is NOT handicap accessible and you have to get permission to bring a pet (which is understandable). We decided not to bring our pet so that worked out but as far as accessibility it was difficult for the (2) 80 year old women ( my mother and aunt) to navigate the stairs. ( and of course could not if they were wheelchair-bound) Handrails would be very beneficial in certain areas. The owner mentioned he was not aware the home was listed that way yet last I checked it still is listed as handicap accessible and should not be as it is misleading and inconvenient to find out after-the-fact.
A couple other negatives were that we were informed just prior to arrival that to heat the pool was an additional $195 for the week. Since we were there in April we paid the additional fee for heating, yet the jacuzzi most of the time was warm rather than hot/therapeutic. Two of the bedrooms did not have closets, pillows were uncomfortable and the basement sometimes had a strange odor.
Yet, all and all, the good points outweigh the negatives for sure.
The Best Place Ever to Stay
This home offers everything. We needed 6 bedrooms for our visit to Laughlin. We had ages from 1 1/2 to 95 years old. And this home had something for everyone. The owner was very easy to work with. My family had a wonderful time being able to spend time together while enjoying an incredible view of the river and desert and mountains We want to come back.
Great House for extended family
House was great, owner was responsive. Only hitch I ran into was that the temperature numbers on the oven dials were worn off, a scary thought when I had to cook a Thanksgiving dinner...but I just bought a oven thermometer (and left it there) so it all worked out. Also left a DVD player, we needed one to show Grandpa's home movies and I didn't need it at home. We had a lovely time, 3 level house so everyone could spread out, the hot tub and game room were a hit with the kids and grownups alike.
Roomy, Relaxing and Fun!
This home is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourself. Loved that most of the rooms had attached bathrooms. Spent the weekend with friends here, and everyone had a great time. Pool level and game room were where we spent most of our time. Beautiful home, beautiful views, beautiful time with friends!
