About Michelle

Our family lives in Charleston, SC. We love to travel and enjoy getting away to Wilmington. I grew up in the South and my husband grew up in the Northeast but came south as soon as he could. I graduated from Clemson University and he graduated from Norwich University in Vermont. We have a ten year old daughter and an eleven year old yellow lab - both of which enjoy travelling with us.

Michelle purchased this condo in 2006

Why Michelle chose Wilmington

We fell in love with this home as soon as we saw it even though we had told ourselves we would never buy an historic home. For the first few years we owned it the home was rented to mostly students at nearby UNCW but we recently decided to completely renovate the house and once we saw the beautiful results we decided it would be a great homebase for people visiting the area.

What makes this condo unique

This home has so much charm and is in a great location close to everything downtown and an easy drive to some of the best beaches in North Carolina.

Great and so central

Beautiful. Comfortable and so homey. I appreciate the supplies. I would suggest a closet have and extra blanket because please like different temps.

Great apartment manager and so easy to communicate with. Would do it again.

Well maintained, beautiful and comfortable property

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this historic home. It was spacious, beautiful and comfortable, with all the amenities you might need. The onsite manager was pleasant, friendly and helpful. It is located right in the historic district which was incredible; great to stroll the neighborhood in the evening and admire the amazing homes. Close enough to downtown to walk to shops and restaurants. I would recommend this property as an economical option to pricier bed and breakfasts in the area. Having access to a full kitchen is a plus for our family, as is having a washer and dryer. The dryer was in disrepair but functional. Overall, we had a great stay and would return.

Great Historical Home with lots of charm and character!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and loved the downtown Wilmington area. The house was spacious, very well kept, and close to everything from restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing. The house was so cozy and comfortable and my daughter said it felt like home. We hope to visit here again in the future.

This apartment was perfect. Everything and more we needed was there. It is beautiful and spacious. The location is outstanding- easy to downtown as well as heading out of town. Coffee shops within walking distance (Jesters & Luna). I will stay there again.

A nice and quaint house.

This house was in a strategic part of Wilmington that allowed us to walk down to several areas of interest in the historic district. Good house.
