Our holiday chalet is situated in a quiet location away from busy roads. It is ideal for families with children or people who simply want to relax. The village centre is within walking distance and there is a supermarket.
***SUMMER:***
Nearby forest for mushroom hunting, but there are also many hiking trails and a fitness trail within walking distance of the house. There is also a hiking bus from the village to the Nockberge National Park and the neighbouring villages. The village of Ebene Reichenau is very centrally located at the foot of the Turracher Höhe. This means you can reach many hiking areas in the beautiful unspoilt countryside from the house. Bad Kleinkirchheim is also within easy reach. There are thermal baths, a golf course and tennis courts. The golf course can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. The garden with terrace is ideal for relaxing. Numerous offers and events in the neighbourhood for children (e.g. Heidi-Alm Falkert, Nockberge National Park, campfire evening,...).
***WINTER:***
In winter, 5 top ski areas can be reached by car from Ebene Reichenau in just a few minutes: Bad Kleinkirchheim, St. Oswald, Falkert, Turracher Höhe and Hochrindl. There is an ice-skating rink in the village and cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity. The ski areas offer night-time tobogganing (with floodlights). The location of the house is ideal for families with small children: the hillside location of the garden and the many hills in the surrounding area make it great for sledging. There are also many great adventure offers especially for children in the ski areas!
***GREAT OFF-SEASON***
Spring and autumn are also highly recommended: mushroom picking in the forest, relaxing in the thermal baths, hiking, jogging, golf, tennis, adventure excursions into nature and in any case lots of relaxation...
