About this property
Vacation Home-5 Mins Downtown! 2 Bdrm 2.5 bath Hot Tub! Fireplace! Up to 4 Adult
My gorgeous house with everything you need to enjoy a few days in Nashville! But the best part - Only mins to downtown! Only about an $8 taxi ride to the entertainment district! This is a 2 bedroom/ 2.5 bath house Each bedroom has its own bath!
To get downtown, you have many choices: - Walk 15 mins to the Music City Circuit stop at the Bicentennial park (free downtown bus service from 6AM - 6PM except Sundays) - Take a 30 minute walk (My favorite! Along the way browse Farmers Market, then checkout Bicentennial park, then take the capital steps up to the State capital building(check out the view!), then on to War Memorial Plaza and your downtown! Just a short walk down Church St to the entertainment district, and you have to walk out on the pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River just for the view of Nashville!! - Take a $6 Lift or Uber ride (Second best choice!!) - Less than 2 mile drive ( but parking will cost you, especially on the busy weekends!)
Great restaurants nearby: Rolf & Daughters - #3 Best New Restaurant in America 2013
Monell's - When in Nashville do what the locals do…Pass the Peas..Please! Great Southern Food served Family Style in Historic Settings. Skillet Fried Chicken, Green ... Germantown Cafe - Germantown Café has become a reliable fixture on Nashville's dining scene by offering fresh, creative cuisine at reasonable prices, as well as a fully-stocked bar. Farmers Market - Multiple eating establishments!! to many to list but a few of my favorites are: El Buritto Mexicano - I go here for a great breakfast..3 egg Western Omelet, hash-browns and toast only $8!! B & C Market BBQ - Southern BBQ done right!!

Great location, and the property was set up perfectly with 2 private bathrooms upstairs for each bedroom. Easy access to local restaurants and downtown.
We had a great time enjoying Nashville and this place was as great as advertised! Everything we needed was there and more. The owner Richard was quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless and location was minutes from Broadway and restaurants. We’d definitely stay there again on our next visit.
Well kept home with everything I needed for a quick business trip to Nashville. House is located in a great area, walkable to a few stores and diners. Quiet neighborhood.
Wonderful house! Great location, 5 minute drive to Broadway. House was the perfect size for 4 adults. Had a very homey feel. Would highly recommend! Owner was very responsive before and during stay. 10 of 10 all the way around!
We really enjoyed our stay here for the few days we were in Nashville. The house was the perfect size for us (two adults, one child) and has everything you need. My daughter really enjoyed the outdoor space in the backyard. A few small touches that I greatly appreciated were the labels on the light switches and that each room came with a plug/USB power strip for easy phone charging. We also liked the neighborhood (great for walks in the evening) and that a grocery store was close by. We'd absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Nashville.
We had a great stay at this Nashville home! The location was a huge plus—close to downtown and within walking distance to the farmers market, which made getting around really easy. The house itself was cozy, clean, and welcoming, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a full day of exploring the city. The host was incredibly kind and communicative, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Nashville!
The location and layout were perfect for us to celebrate Thanksgiving. The host was extraordinarily responsive and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space with a fire.
Host was very responsive and accommodating -This place is in a great location and central to all the attractions the city has to offer..The house had a clean and cozy feel, plenty of seating areas and a great outdoor deck - we enjoyed the hot tub as well . Bedrooms and mattresses were very comfortable! Would definitely book again in the future .
This is an excellent property and a very attentive host. His attention to detail was shown throughout the home. There were snacks, drinks, and plenty of coffee for the Keurig. The outside area is a real gem and the location perfect for whatever you want to do. You will be doing yourself a favor if you choose to stay here!
We had a great stay at this cozy home for our first trip to Nashville. We loved the quick and inexpensive access to Broadway via Uber as it was a little chilly to walk while we’re there, even though we are from Boston. I wish we could have utilized the hot tub and back patio area, again too chilly for us but such a great addition. Rick was very accommodating and very communicative. The house had everything we needed for our stay and the beds and furniture were all very comfortable. Highly recommend this home!
This house was fabulous! We stayed three nights and took in a couple of the restaurant recommendations, very good. (See his info book) The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable! We were two couples and had plenty of privacy. So close to downtown yet so quiet! Highly recommend. The host was totally accommodating as well! Thank you for sharing this fabulous house, home.
This place was perfect. Clean, comfortable, great location. We would hands down reccomend, and we will be returning. Host was available and quick to respond. We used an uber to go to lower broadway for about 8. So much cheaper than parking fee or taxi. Cannot say enough about the house. Only thing I wish it had was a full length mirror for the girls, and maybe a throw in the living room. But all in all it was a 10 out of 10 for us.
Rick the Host was amazing. We were there a little early and he was kind enough to let us in. The house was so cute and very clean and organized. The backyard was set up so you could go out and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine. We also loved the hot tube. We went in it every night.
The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the coffee set up was a treat. Both beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the two bathrooms upstairs. The back patio area was a nice addition to the property. We would stay there again.
We were very comfortable here and the house was conveniently located in a safe neighborhood. My friend and I especially enjoyed working on the jigsaw puzzles in the broad selection. Our husbands appreciated the Keurig and all the pods that were provided. Host Richard was very responsive to my questions and requests for assistance.
Clean, convenient, most comfortable beds I've ever had on vacation! Will come back!

I will do my best to provide a great place to stay while you are in Nashville! I am a single Dad with 2 great kids off to college! I built this home last year and love living near downtown Nashville. I am an avid walker and most weeks put in 15 to 20 miles just walking from my home to the Historical Germantown area, Bicentennial Mall State Park, Farmers Market, State Capital, Legislative Plaza, TPAC, then on to Lower Broad, 2nd Ave, and Riverfront park where all the honky tonks are located! That total distance is just a little over 2 miles each way.
I was in the USAF and Tennessee Air Guard for 13 years where i was a navigator on C-130's. After my military life i became a General Contractor and started my own business. After being in the country for so long i decided to try the city life. I bought a vacant lot in this historical overlay district and loved it. I do love this neighborhood.
I also love to hike the mountains! I have summed 3 12,000 foot peaks in the Rockies and last summer my son and I summed 14,254 foot Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. I must admit - it kicked my ass ... but wow!... what a view! Leaves no doubt there is a God! I also love to kayak and travel. But the best times are with the kids. We love to play strategy board games..Settlers of Catan, Acquire, and Cashflow. I love Axis and Allies, but its hard to get them to play that! I also play in a Texas holdem Poker League...for points...not for cash!
UPDATE: That's my first grandbaby...Walt....Born 19 November 2012!!
Why they chose this property
This is a new house I designed and built. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths! The big plus is that its only about $6 Uber fare to the downtown entertainment district! There is a separately rented studio behind the house with it's own parking and entry behind the 6 ft. privacy fence. If you need extra room this may also be available.
