You get into your unit as fast as you are able to park and get up to the 4th floor and we'll have cold complimentary beverages waiting for you!
We manage this unit personally with a professional housekeeper and therefore you will find this unit to be clean and very well maintained, 100% guaranteed. This is a NON smoking unit, balcony included and regretfully pets are NOT allowed on the property.
SHORT STAYS are typically not cost effective due to operating costs, taxes, fees, dues and housekeeping logistics. During Summer months we typically require 5 - 7 day bookings, however, we are happy to consider shorter stays to fill gaps in the calendar.
RATES advertised are standard rates and may fluctuate depending on season / special events

PARKING on site with a parking permit provided at the front desk is included and you will also receive FREE Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay. Wi-Fi has recently been upgraded.
... KING size memory foam bed with quality linens, ocean front unit conveniently located on the 4th floor away from the noise of elevators and vending machines. Includes a kitchenette with refrigerator, induction heat hot plate, microwave, slow-cooker, blender, Keurig coffee machine, toaster, plates, mugs and glasses, eating utensils.
Linens and bath towels are included but feel free to bring extra. Personal items and toiletries NOT included. ( Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are not provided )
LAUNDRY: There is a 24 / 7 coin operated laundry facility on the lower level opposite the convenience store. This has also just recently been renovated so no need to bring too much clothing!
SHOPPING & DINING: Many great restaurants & grocery stores including Fresh Market, a brand new Publix within a comfortable walking distance or very short drive.
Restaurant and Bar downstairs on the ground level. On the South corner of the property, River City Cafe for amazing burgers, a newly renovated Starbucks and right next door, Martin's Restaurant which we highly recommended for breakfast and wonderful dinners.
If you enjoy a quiet 10 - 12 minute minute walk, or 2 minute drive, Collectors Cafe on Highway 17 and 77th / 79th ave. for the BEST cake and coffee and fine evening dining. Liberty Tap Room on 77th for a Sports bar atmosphere with many great beers and an affordable menu! One of our favorites, another wonderful dining experience at Sea Captain's House, on 3002 N Ocean Blvd and many, many others within 5 - 10 minute drive from the resort and another one of our favorites for lunch or dinner is Cafe Old Vienna, Old world German restaurant located at 1604 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach. This is a must!!
Also within a 10 minute drive North or South, The Boardwalk & Broadway on the beach. Tanger Outlet mall and many golf courses - ladies shop, gentleman golf ... everyone happy!
NOTE: We are a PRIVATE rental in the Sand Dunes Resort and are NOT part of, or affiliated with the Sand Dunes resort rental program, we therefore have limited access to the front desk and resort staff. You will not be required to check in on arrival, so after a long day in the car you will have immediate access to paradise! ** Regretfully Motorcycles & Trailers NOT permitted **

About Rob Tomlinson
Originally from South Africa growing up at the coast we have always just loved the Ocean. We enjoy traveling and have spent considerable time visiting many countries and cities all around the world including the United States. During 1999 we decided it was time for a new adventure and applied for a visa to live and work in the USA. Settled in the Raleigh area in 2000 where we have been ever since. After many years working through the US Immigration process, received Green Cards in 2008 finally taking the oath and became a US Citizen in 2013.

We just love this area - so much to do and see, this is truly an amazing sea side paradise with something for everyone. The beaches are great, you can walk for hours with almost year round beautiful weather! A hundred Golf courses, maybe more - tons of shopping, Tanger outlet mall just 3 miles away, Broadway on the beach, the Boardwalk about 4 miles away and 1000+ restaurants to choose from. We especially enjoy the sunrises with our morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony. Long early morning and evening walks are a daily routine. So many great places to visit in the area, Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, Charleston and Savannah within a days drive amongst many others interesting stops. Late afternoons usually spent relaxing with a cocktail or glass of wine on the balcony before dinner. Sunrise & coffee - no matter how late the night, this is something we never miss!!

Thanks to our Professional Housekeeper Julie and her team, you will find this Condo to be very clean, comfortable and well maintained. New carpeting, granite and good quality linens and towels are just a few of the quality comforts you will find. Window treatments, carpeting and tiles all replaced last Winter. Pictures are 100% accurate.

Very enjoyable - great location - photos accurate
Great view of ocean from condo with nice deck to sit on! About 100 steps to beach. Cute, clean, and very nicely decorated with comfortable bed. Easy distance to shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. Parking was plentiful. Hope to stay again soon!

You won't be disappointed with this efficiency. Very clean, tidy and functional for a week or even a long weekend at the beach. Everything just as it was promised. Not even Hurricane Irma could put a damper on.
Rob went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my trip went without issues. Will definitely book again.

Perfect beach accommodation
Great place on the beach, clean and pictures are accurate.
My stay was 8/12/17 to 8/17/17.
The overall appearance of the place is very nice! The owners welcoming things of the wine, beer, nuts and chocolates are a very nice touch. The location of the room on the 4th floor makes the view seem as if you are on the beach. I really enjoyed my stay!

Can't imagine a better value or host
This is an ideal value for a couple that wants to enjoy Myrtle for a week. The location is central and the 4th floor balcony truly is on the ocean so no angle views or other such misleading statements from others. The room is excellent and fresh with a very comfy bed. Rob is a tremendous person that knows how to communicate. We had no issues needing his help but I am confident if we did, he'd be all over it quickly. The only downside might be the resort itself. Areas are dated but really it didn't matter at all to us and our needs. Spent most of our time at the beach which is right there or offsite enjoying all Myrtle has to offer. When we got home we had all the comforts and a beautiful balcony to enjoy the night before bed. Thanks Rob. P.S. I wish I could find those salted caramel almonds. They were a winner for me!
Thank you so much - firstly for staying at our little oceanfront retreat and secondly for offering such a wonderful review. We appreciate this very much and hope to have you stay again when next visiting Myrtle Beach. The resort, like so many others along the coast was neglected for many years in part due to the property recession a few years ago ... the resort was sold in the past 3 years and since then there has been a continuous effort to improve and renovation the property with many projects on the go during the off the season.
Unfortunately it takes time and as always the top priorities are the mechanics ( or behind the walls ) type repairs and upgrades which no one sees but are necessary. We are pleased to confirm that the HOA and commercial property management have been working diligently on bringing this resort back to it's former glory. Many of the individual owners too have spent tens of thousands of dollars renovating their properties, so all in all lots of good happening and we are excited to see what the next few years bring. Property is located on Ocean Blvd, between 73rd and 74th Ave. Everything you need is within 4 miles in either direction. A nice quiet residential area of the Golden Mile with fantastic beaches!
