Our beach home is a darling 2 bedroom, 2 1//2 bath town home located on the white sands of Navarre Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Navarre Beach is located on Santa Rosa Island, a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico and just minutes from Gulf Islands National Seashore.
The unit has a master bedroom with a queen bed and bath (tub and shower). The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. The bedrooms are separated with another full bath (shower). Both bedrooms have televisions so everyone can watch what they want! The sofa also makes into a bed which would allow six guests total. Of course, linens are provided.
The kitchen has a table to seat six and a bar. It is stocked with necessities for your week to include microwave, coffee pot, toaster and blender.
There is a living area that leads to a small fenced-in back yard in which you can store all the kid's beach stuff! There is a table on the back patio. A powder room, half bath, is on the main floor.
The unit is decorated in light, 'beachy' colors and has a cottage feel. It is open and airy as it is an end unit with windows on the side! You can view the water from the little window at the top of our stairs. This shows you how close you are to paradise! See the picture.
It is a great unit for a family in that the parking is reserved and directly in front of the unit. Also, a washer and dryer is there for your convenience.
Turn right out the front door and you are just steps from the walkover to the beach. Turn left and you are right at the heated pool. (Pool is heated March through October only) If you have been to Sugar Beach, we are the closest two bedroom to the ocean!
Navarre is know as 'Florida's Best Kept Secret,' and we consider our beach home the next best 'secret.' We would love to share it with you and make your vacation something to remember!
'Seas the day' and try a vacation with us! It will 'shorely' be a wonderful experience.
We are in the Atlanta area. We have built so many family memories in Navarre. We visited there once and were in love. We have four children who are now starting to leave home. Sugar Beach has been our little paradise away from home. We visit it several times a year, and it never grows old. Navarre Beach is our 'therapy.' It has been such a blessing to us. As we can't be there all the time, we would like to share this blessing with others. We only hope you and yours can build as many memories as we have built in our beach home!
Angie/Tony Studebaker purchased this townhome in 2001
We love the quiet beaches of Navarre. We liked the area because it was such a calm paradise, yet centrally located to almost anything you need. With such a large family, a hotel is never quite as enjoyable as a 'house.' We like the space to spread out, and of course, we love the beach. The beach is a different world! We can get our groceries, settle in, and stay on this island for days. With everything needed in our town home, we don't need to leave the island unless we decide to!
At Sugar Beach, you are steps from the beach. We love walks to the beach. The newly constructed pier is great for sunset walks or great for the avid fisherman. The sound is right across the road for those interested in it. There is Sailor's Grill and Juan Pagoda's in walking distance. Just across the street is a rental place for bikes, etc. The island is a beautiful place for bike riding! We have also rented kayaks through the years! What fun!
Great get away, the House was perfect and so close to the beach.
The owner of this property was very accomidating.the property looks just like the pictures in the advertising.
Very nice property just steps from the beach. We really enjoyed out stay at this Navarre Beach location.
Cute condo just what we needed to away for for Thanksgiving break
We absolutely loved our vacation! The beach is amazing, white sand beach, blue/green ocean, gentle waves, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The townhouse is perfect size for a small family and it’s great that it has 2.5 baths!! My main complaint that caused us issue is the lack of curtains. In the second bedroom there is no drapery whatsoever, only blinds. The reason this is a problem is because the sun rises from that direction at 645am so when it started to get light in the bedroom my girls would wake up... definitely not ideal for a vacation. The master bedroom did have curtains however they were sheers so they didn’t block much of any light coming in either, but because there was a curtain rod I was able to throw a blanket over top of the rod to darken the room. So after the first morning of both girls waking up at 650, we moved my oldest daughter into the master room with us, and we moved the babies pack and play into the closet (very big closet) in the second bedroom. Again we made it work, but it would definitely be nice to have had drapes to control the light. Second and minor inconvenience would be kitchen stocking supplies. There was 1 trash bag in the trash can when we arrived and a handful of coffee filters. It would be nice to have had a few items available like a few more trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, sponge, etc. just little things you don’t think of to bring on vacation until you need it and then realize it’s not provided. The stores are very convenient only a few minutes away and most of these items can be gotten at the dollar store.
We had a great time, and I highly recommend vacationing here!
Fantastic location just a few steps to the beach access! There are two assigned parking spaces right in front of the unit, which we loved. The pool is right out the front door. The inside space was very comfortable for my family of five. There is a full size washer and dryer, which made it nice to bring home fresh laundry. There is a full kitchen that seemed pretty well stocked if you need to prepare meals.
The furnishings were comfortable enough for our short stay and we had everything we needed. I think the unit is decorated cute and I love the location, so it's already on my mind for next time!
Navarre Beach is 'Florida's Best Kept Secret!' We are located on a barrier island between Pensacola and Ft. Walton Beach. National Protected Seashore separates us from Pensacola Beach and is a beautiful drive with pavilions along the way. You can view the ocean on one side and the sound on the other as you drive this beautiful uninhabited area. East of Navarre you will find Destin. Outlet shopping is available in Sandestin. Navarre is centrally located to enjoy Pensacola and its wonderful cultural activites, to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Navarre, and to be close enough to Destin for shopping. We love visiting Fort Pickens at the end of the island in Pensacola and the Pensacola Lighthouse and Naval Air Station which is the home of the Blue Angels. Visit their museum and Imax. Eglin Air Force Base is nearby and has attractions. Of course, it is difficult to leave the relaxing beach that right over the crosswalk and the pool that is in the center of the complex.
