Family-oriented, Affordable, Spacious 2 Bedroom Units

Terra Mar units B (downstairs) and D (upstairs) are two units of a 4-plex located one block from the beach. This listing is for Unit B (Downstairs). Each unit is 1100 sq. ft. with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and there are two roll away twin beds. We do allow up to 10 guests but only provide bedding and linens for 6 occupants.

Each unit is equipped with a refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, dishes and kitchen utensils. Each has a washer, dryer, cable TV and WIFI. Unit B has a small, enclosed back yard with a grill, and unit D has a front and back balcony with a grill.

If the calendar shows the unit is booked for the time period you are interested in, contact the owner for availability of the other unit.

Great family vacation

The communication was very quick and helpful. The stay was great with everything we needed. Short drive to everywhere we went. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for us and our children.

Great Stay

I just wanted to comment on how Mrs. Butters handled an issue we were having with the A/C. Mechanical issues are going to happen even under the best of circumstances. I notified her late during the evening and she not only got some one out to fix the problem asap but she made sure that my family had a unit to stay in until it was fixed. She/her husband were extremely polite/attentive. I wish everyone did business like them. It would make the world an easier place to live. We have stayed with them the last 4 summers and have never had any issues. I highly recommend them to anyone. I will not stay with anyone else but them. My family is going to be life long customers

Excellent place with a wonderful host!

I have a large family so finding a place that is both affordable and still in a great location can often be a tough match to make. Not the case here. Debbie's place was beautiful and very well kept up! She was very respectful of our privacy and never came over or sent someone over to scope things out, yet was very responsive with any questions we had or anything we needed. Location was actually wonderful for us as being slightly south of the main drag put us about a block from the beach and 2 from the bay side. Was nice being able to walk to the beach whenever we wanted. Shopping, attractions fishing, etc. were all available within a few miles. If we come back to SPI, will definitely look into staying at this one or another of Debbie's places again!

It was okay except for a few roaches that we found in the property.

We had a great time.

But next door neighbors upstairs and downstairs were loud and cursing through the middle of the night.

Owner's Response: I apologize for the noise from the neighbors. I would suggest that if renters are having noise problems from the neighbors that they politely ask the neighbors to be quiet or call the police. I also apologize for the roach problem. We have regular pest control service with a very reputable company. After complaints from our renters, we have had the exterminators return several times. Apparently there is a strain of roaches that are resistant to the regular poison they use, so they used some more potent poison. Since then, we have not had any more complaints of roaches. We have never had a problem with roaches until the last three months. Hopefully we have the roach problem under control now but if not, we will attack them as soon as we see or hear of any problems. I use these condos personally and I try to keep them in a condition that I would live in. I'm glad you had a great time at South Padre and hope you will consider staying with us again.

very nice

we enjoyed our stay hear very much, This place was clean and modern. 1 1/2 blocks from the bay or the gulf. Close to shops and restaurants. pretty much you can walk to everything you need. Very Nice.
