Bienvenido a Hábitat 16! Esta hermosa dos dormitorios, dos baños y medio Condo está esperando. Este condominio es una hermosa unidad de nivel 2, que se encuentra en la 2ª planta. La planta superior cuenta con dos de sus dormitorios. Cada habitación tiene una cama de matrimonio y su propio baño! Así como una lavadora y secadora ubicada entre las dos habitaciones! El salón tiene una cama de matrimonio también. Usted también consigue dos balcones privados, uno en cada piso. Grande para el café de la mañana! Te va a encantar el encanto de este condominio.

Este condominio se encuentra a menos de una cuadra de la playa, cuenta con internet de alta velocidad, un espacio de estacionamiento asignado, piscina privada, y dos televisores! Todo lo que necesita para disfrutar de su hogar lejos de casa!

Habitat 16 admite mascotas con un límite de peso de 20 libras si te vas a quedar por una semana o más. Por favor, póngase en contacto con nosotros directamente para la aprobación de la mascota.

Quiet building

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Good vacation

It was a great spot just about a five min walk to the beach, relaxing no one bothers you just a great spot to be at.

They had a swimming pool, close to the beach. They are strict on their requirements but yet I could not sleep the first night since people were in the swimming pool til 3 am with loud music. I was not able to park in my assigned parking spot for the first and second day. I had to park in the grass across the street. Overall the place was super clean and close to the beach!!

Great Place!

Great little place. My only negative was the beds were to firm for me. Over all 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. 2 balconies for sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Christmas Vacation

Thank you for a great apartment. The location was great. We enjoyed staying here. I did have to clean when we got there. There seemed to be old coffee or food splattered around on the appliances and walls and the floor made our feet black, I got a stiffer mop, but other than that it was great.

Summer 2025

Property was good. Too many stairs to get to it. Pool was great. The entry door needs adjusted hard to close and open. The AC unit worked greaat but it made a loud humming noise at was mostly noticeable. Had trouble sleeping. Other than that it is a great location.

Nice family getaway

Having never been to the island, it was nice not having to stay in a hotel. While the property is somewhat dated, it was charming and cozy. Other tenants not following the pool rules and broken blinds giving us minor privacy issues didn't take away from our stay. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

It’s cozy.Definitely a lot of space. Cold air conditioner which was great after spending an afternoon at the beach. Well equipped with everything for a quick lunch. The pillows to the bed were comfy! We’ll definitely be back :)

It was okay

Our stay was decent but the place was a lot older than it appeared. Few things needed to be update and were falling apart. The walk to the beach took longer cause the entrance was closed. The other guests were loud at the pool and messy there was no one to manage them. The furniture seems old and needed deep cleaning.

Overall experience was good. And when we notified mgmt it was taken care of quickly. The biggest disappointment was how dirty the pool was. And that the light in the pool did not work which made swimming at night more dangerous for younger kids as it was difficult to see them under water.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, our overall time was great, the rental wasn't really what we expected for 2000 dollars we didn't have Wifi for over half the time. The pullout was broken, ants all over the kitchen, rules seemed as if they didn't apply to everyone. And wasn't the cleanest either.

Tough Week

There were numerous issues with this property. The first 2 nights there was no power and we were given a new place to stay (a very nice place). We returned to Habitat 16 to no A/C, bathroom overflows, no power in the guest bath, grill not working, washing machine not working and urine stains on the sleeper sofa. Management addressed the major issues and refunded one nights fee for no AC. These issues created a very stressful week of vacation and I will NOT return to Habitat 16!

Not horrible but not great

Overall the rental was ok. It had basic necessities but nothing extra. It was fairly clean but the floors were definitely dirty and our feet were black walking on them. We had a toddler with us and the unit was in no way baby proofed, despite us notifying Rent on Padre we were coming with a 1 year old. This would have been a nice heads up. The location was within walking distance from the beach, which was nice. The furniture definitely needs to be updated. Overall it was just ok and we would probably not stay there again. Again, not horrible but not great either.

Disappointing stay

The condo location was a nice location. The bedding and towels were clean. Water pressure was great. We had inquired about the pool prior to our arrival and were told it was in working order. Upon arrival the pool was a greenish gray color and you couldn’t see more than a foot into the water. They shocked the pool and treated it. Day 2 we were told that it was safe to swim. However our daughter suffered a chemical burn that blistered after being in the pool. The air vents had a black mold all around them & the condo stunk of mildew by the end of day 2. It was overall a mediocre stay. The price was right. But we got what we paid for. Management was combative when we called, but they did have maintenance fix the pool.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not very clean and I thought for the price it was not what I expected. We found a live roach in the basket of goodies they left. Which was the soap for the washer machine and other items like that. There were ants crawling everywhere on the grounds and next to the pool. There was a dead baby bird on the sunning area of the pool for days. I was expecting a more clean experience. I will not be staying here next year when we come to South Padre.
