About Ree Beavers
We are an adventure loving family from Georgia who fell in love with the great state of Wyoming in 2006. After repeated trips out each year we stumbled upon this little gem tucked away in the Shoshone National Forest. We vacationed here for a few years and fell in love with the town of Dubois. We relocated from Georgia in May 2015 so that we can enjoy the beauty of the area year round. We hope you enjoy the rest and relaxation as much as we do! If so, I'd be happy to help you find your own little slice of Heaven: Ree Beavers, owner/broker, Wind River Property Group, LLC. 307.455.4100 or cell, 678.300.5876

Why Ree Beavers chose Dubois
This cabin is so secluded. The peace and quiet is perfect for those wanting to get away from it all - to forget about the cares of the world for the days that you are here. I like to grab my groceries in Jackson (or Lander if flying in by way of Denver) and then stay for the week without leaving :) However, the cabin is perfectly located for day trips to Jackson, Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Park. It is also only 20 miles from the quaint western town of Dubois (voted one of the best towns to raise a family). The Friday night rodeo is a must during the summer months and the petroglyphs carved into the cliffs/boulders just east of town by the Sheep Eater Indians thousands of years ago makes for a fun day of exploration by kids and history buffs alike. Located right at the edge of the Wind River Indian Reservation a casino is a local attraction for those who think they have a little luck :)
What makes this Cabin unique
Original historic cabin located on a trout stream in the middle of the Shoshone National Forest (very few cabins or homes are located inside the National Forest). The cabin has authentic western charm (not a shiny, new 'kit' log home) but with the modern conveniences of DirecTV, unlimited local/long distance phone service, a booster for Verizon cell phone users and WiFi for those that have to do a little work while hibernating. Oh, and let's not forget the stars - with no light polution you can see the milkyway and stars so clearly. Doesn't get much better than this!

Great cabin for our fall visit to Wyoming - moose, antelope, elk, deer and more. Loved it - hope to be back some day.
Relaxation at Bearitage
This is a very comfortable relaxing cabin which we enjoyed tremendously. The fireplace was wonderful on the cold mornings and evenings. The days were just gorgeous for walking and exploring. Would recommend this vacation cabin if you are looking for a more remote relaxing week.
Lovely cabin in beautiful country!!
So glad you chose to stay with us at the Bearitage! We hope you'll visit again:) Happy Trails, Ree Beavers/owner
I left a piece of my soul...
Bearadise cabin was in a secluded location.Close to the cute lil town of Dubois.About and hour or so to Jackson.Saw alot of wildlife, including Grizzlies and moose on the drive there and back each night.A gorgeous deer greeted us every morning and afternoon. The interior of the cabin was very warm and cozy and the pictures on this site do not do it justice.the decor was gorgeous and the bedding was heavenly. So many small touches to make it seem homey. My husband and son enjoyed chopping the wood and making a fire in the beautiful fireplace. The only thing it was missing was a kitchen table to eat at.The deck was nice to hang out ,but make sure to bring bug spray.I would highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the hustle of Jackson.Driving away today,it made me sad to say good bye.
We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at our cabin! It's a pretty special place - that's for sure:) Sounds like you enjoyed everything about the cabin and Dubois that we do - what brought us to Wyoming! Guess what? With the recent remodel of our sunroom we've planned space for a small dining table. We hope you'll plan a return trip and enjoy summer dinners on the porch overlooking Brooks Lake Creek or enjoying a nice meal under the stars after a long day exploring or fishing. Happy Trails, Ree Beavers/owner
This cabin was perfect for our family of 6 and in a beautiful, quiet area. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the birds and deer who frequent the creek and saw two moose on our evening walk. The location was perfect - close enough to Dubois and the NPs, yet far enough away to provide the peace and quiet we were seeking. The cabin itself was wonderful - well equipped yet rustic, with a lot of character and history. Would definitely go back!
So glad you met our resident moose family:) The cabin location, close to the parks, makes for a fun and easy vacation - perfectly situated between Jackson Hole and Dubois. We look forward to your return trip to the Bearitage!

The cabin was wonderful!, it was a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed the area and the wildlife around us daily. We had deer and elk everyday. One day we saw a moose down the road. We did see bear tracks but we didn't see any bear around the cabin. The location was perfect, we spent time in Dubios, Yellowston and the Tetons. It was an amazing week all together!
We are so glad you enjoyed our property and the beautiful area that surrounds it. We hope you will come visit us again!
