Perfect for our girls weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend here! Its very close to town for doing the tourist thing. The cabins location is beautiful and quiet. It was very well stocked they really thought of everything! The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets available. The shower was fantastic, with a skylight situated right above and wonderful water pressure. Honestly I wasn't planning on taking more than one shower that weekend but I took one every morning because I have never been more in love with a shower! My favorite thing has to be the location though. Surrounded by trees, horses out in the field during the day, beautiful buildings, and clear bright stars at night. The light pollution of the city is no where to be found so you can see the whole sky at night. We sat out in the chairs wrapped in blankets just staring up at them. The wildlife in the area is quite vocal, we heard a pack of coyotes talking out in the forest! Susie was very helpful and prompt with responses to questions! I've never rented a place like this before so I had plenty of questions. Overall it was perfect for our girls weekend. I am thinking of coming back with my husband for a quick romantic getaway sometime soon!

Peaceful Serene Setting

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week at this lovely property for a much needed respite. The location is perfect as everything was no more than 15 minutes away. The cabin itself has quaint rustic charm but also includes all amenities. Our sheltie Jasper loved the large open field next to the horse paddock and we spent many an hour sitting on the deck in the Adirondack chairs contemplating nature. There were lots of personal touches that made our stay very comfortable; the heated towel rack in the bathroom, robes and slippers, the shower with the skylight, a super comfy bed. Size was perfect for the three of us, more than that could be a bit of a squeeze. We would definitely stay here again and will keep the Wolf Den bookmarked.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is really close to Port Townsend. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. I would certainly recommend staying at this location. Lovely soaps and big thick towels.

Beautiful cabin in a quiet, lovely setting.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and the setting quiet and lovely. Three possible improvements: Fix the windows that are taped open, make the outside garbage can more accessible (we couldn't find it), and leave some staples in the kitchen.

Owner's Response: Hi Deborah, Thank you for your review and comments. I think I'll put a sign on the bin or a map in the binder so folks don't wander around looking for it. The previous guest wanted to keep bugs, etc. out so we taped the screen gaps. It's been a hot summer. We have a few basics in the bottom drawer in kitchen, but if we leave things in the fridge, like condiments, we've found that guests don't use them. But I'll check out the drawer and see what else could go in there. We hope to see you back at Winterchill Farm. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Susie

The home has a beautiful modern cabin atmosphere, with a huge meadow vista.

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is down a quiet country road, beautiful setting but 10 minutes from downtown Port Townsend.

The home is bright and airy, well equipped with modern appliances, great beds,(queen in the bedroom, 2 twin beds in the great room) and an awesome shower under a huge skylight.

The manager is great, responds right away, and was very helpful with any request.

It would be great for a family or a romantic getaway.
