We rented this beautiful, updated, fully restored home in Petoskey. It was walking to distance to everything and the home is fantastic. It was quiet and relaxing and felt like a home away from home.
Great place - great location. Plan on relaxing a lot when you stay here - great walk into town location - Quiet and relaxing. Extremely professional from the start with the Realtor to us sadly having to leave.
We came to Petoskey for a family wedding and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. As soon as you walk in the door you are blown away. We had four couples with us and all four bedrooms are very spacious. Along with four bathrooms their was no crowding getting ready for the wedding. Perfectly located, Historic home right in Petoskey. Less than a 5 minute walk and you are right in the middle of shopping, dining and site seeing. Updated and very clean. There are a few wineries less than a 10 minute car from the home. 2 beautiful decks to enjoy outside. Amazing kitchen for cooking and entertaining. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Petoskey!
Charming, comfortable home in a great location. Our family of 4, including our 17 and 21 year old daughters, enjoyed all the space and 3 1/2 bathes during our week in Petoskey. Our older daughter walked to drop in yoga classes. The home was clean and bright and the porch was a wonderful place to sit and read. We had great communication with the owners.
House is in a great location, close to downtown and great for shopping. Great location for day trips to Mackinac Island and Sleepy Bear Dunes. The house is very, very clean and updated. There are 3 full baths so you never feel like you are waiting in line. Renters are easily able to contact with any questions. They have 2 nice bicycles available to use and ride around town. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and dining room seats 8. Loved the front and side porches. The neighbors on both sides are quiet and friendly. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice. The only issues I could foresee is if people have trouble going up and downstairs or have pets (not allowed). My only struggle was no air conditioning and it was hot this past week. There is only one ceiling fan in the house. They do have some table fans in the bedrooms.
The last 2 summers we spent time at this fabulous, charming, spacious, comfortable, well decorated Historic home in the heart of Petoskey. Walks to the downtown area for shopping, delightful restaurants, entertainment, and harbor activities make this home a perfect location. There are numerous choices for enchanting day trips including the ferry to Mackinac Island and surrounding towns such as Charlevoix where we experienced a delightful sunset sail, Harbor Springs for an art festival, and local wineries. Whether sightseeing or relaxing in this home, we highly recommend staying here. The home is fully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for dine-in meals.
