Party of 4 couples for our stay. House was just as advertised with anything you could need in the kitchen available. Grill was great according to my hubby as well. Linens, beds and pillows were all comfy for all guests which is not common when we travel as a group. Only bummer was I requested a later check out while at the property (short two day stay) and never got an answer. Otherwise all communications were great.

Beautiful Home

The house was very comfortable for our family. We had a total of 7 with two being children. The bunk room was a hit for them. It was well stocked with everything from towels to games for the family. The management company was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The house is very well kept and clean. This would be a great place in the summer too with the play structure and fire pit. Easy to get to and close to the ski resorts

Perfect family-friendly getaway between Harbor Springs and PetoskeyThis house was perfect for our vacation. We stayed with another family (4 adults, 4 kids total) and the space worked beautifully for everyone: tons of room to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen that made meals easy. The location was ideal — tucked in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still only about 8 minutes to downtown Harbor Springs and around 12–15 minutes to Petoskey. We loved the backyard, which had space for the kids to run around, and appreciated thoughtful touches like blackout shades, toys, step stools, kids’ dishes, and more. They truly thought of everything for families. The property management team was responsive and helpful. We had a small hiccup with the door code at check-in, but they fixed it quickly and were great to work with.We had a blast here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We love The Bird House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our stay, we found The Bird House to be spotless, new, modern, spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture and nice decor. We stayed for a long ski weekend with our three young kids and had plenty of space for them to play and more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. We had no issues getting in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The internet connection was a little bit slow on our mobile devices, but we had no issues streaming shows and movies on the TVs in the house. It was not a problem for us at all. The house is also very close to Nubs Nob and some good local restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great house for vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this home. Our first few days limited our time outside due to the wildfire smoke, so we appreciated having plenty of room inside to spread out. The home had all of the amenities that we needed. The only negative was that the cleaning person was still cleaning when we checked in at 4:00. She said she would wrap up in 15 minutes, which was fine. She did not finish until around 4:45/5:00. I'm glad the house was so clean, but it did start our stay off a little strange since we waited to bring everything in.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 6. aug. 2026
Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you had a wonderful stay and that the home provided plenty of space and all the amenities you needed, especially while the wildfire smoke limited outdoor activities. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the delayed check-in. The departing guests left the home requiring significantly more cleaning than expected, which caused our housekeeper to run behind schedule. We had reached out earlier that day, and based on your message, understood you planned to arrive around 5:00 p.m. Had we known you would be arriving closer to 4:00 p.m., we would have let you know about the delay in advance. We're happy to hear the extra time resulted in the home being exceptionally clean for your arrival, and we appreciate your patience.
