Fully renovated and redesigned terrace-style townhouse in a six-unit brick row, originally built by early-20th-century Missoula developer T.A. Price and renovated spring of 2014 by Deluca Inc. is now available for short-term lease. The 1,400-square-foot structure’s architecture and charm have been preserved with the addition of energy-efficient systems, modern finishes and an open floor plan.

Located only a short walk away from the heart of Missoula:

--2 blocks to the 'Hip strip' with shopping, bakeries, breweries, restaurants, and the famous Big Dipper ice cream shop

--3 blocks to the popular Clark Fork River Trail

--5 blocks to University of Montana’s Grizzly Stadium and Adams Event Center

--5 blocks to downtown

Upon arrival, guests can park their cars and spend the days walking and biking around Missoula. Included are two parking spaces—one for the garage and another outdoor. Two cruiser bikes are available to guests for riding around town and along nearby trails.

The unit has three bedrooms with two king beds and two extra long twin beds and one and a half bathrooms to comfortably accommodate six guests.

The large existing bathroom upstairs has been remodeled, and a new powder room was added to the main level. A redesigned kitchen offers new appliances including a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. New cabinets and quartz counter tops offer ample storage and preparation space for cooking and entertaining. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools and serving items needed to host a Thanksgiving dinner for eight.

To open up the public quarters, the owners repurposed salvaged sinker beams from a Blackfoot River bridge, which collapsed decades ago but was recently recovered, to reframe the new opening. Original brick walls have been exposed. A modern leather sofa and chairs now occupy the living space, which has been decorated with heirloom antiques and original artwork. Foyer features an antique oak telephone booth equipped with a functioning rotary phone that offers guests complimentary calling anywhere in North America. WiFi and cable are also included with stay.

The exterior features covered front and back porches with a common lawn. A grill is provided for guest use.

Distinctive design with an unbeatable location make for a convenient, relaxing, and a truly authentic Missoulian experience.

A pure delight!

This is a true gem of a vacation rental. Not only is the location terrific, the interiors of this home are top shelf. There's a full-scale telephone booth with a telephone that actually works! From the amply equipped and modern kitchen to the high thread count bedding, these wonderful owners have thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. There's even a garage to house your vehicle (or bikes in our case). If you stay here, take the time to check out the vintage photos on the walls of this history-rich area. I could easily live in this "row house" home.

Location, location, location

Fantastic!!! If you want to be close to town and the university, this town house is it!! Great location for each and it's just a couple of blocks from the Big Dipper! The area is wonderful and convenient parking behind the building. Kitchen was wonderful and is right beside the living area so you don't feel isolated from everyone when you are cooking. Plenty of space! The full bathroom upstairs is very big and accommodating to anyone staying there. The beds were also comfortable! Can't wait to stay here again!

Amazing place!

This house is incredible. Hands down, it's the best property our family has ever rented and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The layout, decor, finishes and appliances are top notch; totally worthy of being featured on a home decorating show! And yet it is so comfortable and welcoming. The beds are especially cozy with sheets that must be a million thread count -- they were so super soft. Holly was an amazing host -- responsive and thoughtful -- she anticipated everything we needed. The location of the property is great -- very convenient to both downtown Missoula and the University. It was helpful to have AC units and a washer/dryer -- again, all the conveniences we could ever need. The extra added bonus of the phone booth was a huge hit with our daughter -- she was astounded to actually use a rotary dial! Just one of the many charming details of this beautiful place. A great find!!

Hip Strip is the area just south of Higgins Bridge and 2 blocks from the T.A. Price House. It is home to the two best bakeries in town, award winning brewery, excellent restaurants and shopping. The river trail is three blocks away and runs along the Clark Fork River accessing many areas of Missoula.
