Welcome to our Hawaii home! We have enjoyed many memorable vacations here with our extended family and friends, and hope that you too will have the tropical vacation of your dreams. Our home was built with attention to detail, and designed to reflect a traditional Hawaiian feel while enjoying contemporary features. There are three separate pods, all with distinctive copper roofs. Gracious indoor/outdoor living will allow you to enjoy the Aloha spirit and the near-perfect weather all year long. In addition, we are happy to provide Light Housekeeping Service (must be pre-arranged with out House Manager) to truly make this a vacation for everyone! Here’s what our home offers:

Guests may also enjoy full access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Resorts and their amenities. They can contact Residential Services to set up an account that allows for charging privileges, discount rates for tennis and golf, priority parking, access to fitness centers and classes, and full beach privileges, including use of lounges, towels, umbrellas, and cabanas. There is a fee for this, which is dependent on the length of the stay. Our home is a three minute drive to the Mauna Kea, or a scenic 20 minute walk. The ocean provides unlimited fun and also the opportunity to spot sea turtles, whales when in season, and manta rays. We can wholeheartedly assure you that the beach and ocean of this magnificent piece of paradise will never fail to amaze and delight.

We bought this property for our extended family and friends to celebrate holidays and special occasions. We wanted to be within the gates of the Mauna Kea resort, enjoy a private retreat with spectacular views, and have a heated pool - a feature that is necessary in the winter months.
This is a very relaxing and comfortable home. The individual pods make group living really easy. We love the location - a simple drive or a scenic walk to our favorite beach in the world, and we treasure the privacy and views from every room. We have been fortunate to share our home with many friends, and pleased to know how much they enjoyed their stay.
My family and I stayed in this beautiful home over the Holiday. It was everything I imagined and then some. They house is very well laid out with nicely decorated furnishings, top of the line technology and all the amenities you could desire. My family had a wide range of ages and the house is well designed for all. The pool and views gave our nightly pupu and cocktail hour an amazing "magazine photo" like atmosphere. The property manager checked in on us during our stay and was very attentive to our needs and questions should they arise. We shall return someday and I shall cherish our stay forever. We had the pleasure of staying in Judy's beautiful home in July. There were 11 of us in the party - ages ranging from grandparents to grandkids. We loved exploring the island by day and relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets at night. The kids really enjoyed the pool while the adults enjoyed a glass of wine after dinner. I had some initial concerns about the "pod" style of the home but it ended up being the best thing about it. We could all retreat at the end of the day to our own "pod". My children are 10 and 7 and I didn't want them in the main house alone at night so we had 2 air mattresses set up in our room as there was plenty of room. There is AC for the bedrooms that we turned off during the day when we were gone but turned back on for sleeping and it worked well. The main home does get very warm - even with the breeze - and we had a fan going in the kitchen while we cooked. Overall, I would highly recommend it. It's in a nice, quiet location, is set up to give even those in a large party some privacy and has every amenity that you can imagine. It's a perfectly thought out home. Thank you Judy! (house manager was super helpful and even had some groceries there so we wouldn't have to go food shopping after a long flight from Florida)
The owner was easy to deal with, the local manager was terrific and the property is awesome. The home is well appointed and has a good layout for relaxing and entertaining. All the koa wood inside is beautiful. Lots of books, towels, kitchen equipment, beach toys and electronics. The kids (teenagers) loved it. If you want daily cleaning you have to specify that. Otherwise it is every two to three days. The spa has a leak, so you must partly refill it daily.
Great house very professionally managed with all the necessary amenities. Judy the owner was very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. Nicole the house manager was phenomenal!!

A beautiful property located with easy access to Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach and respective hotel amenities. The lush landscape provides privacy from nearby residences. House is designed for privacy and pool access from each bedroom, and a wonderful open feeling from other areas of the house. The tiki torches provided a lovely ambiance in the evening. It is equipped very well with most everything you could need. Nicole (the local manager) and the owner are wonderful and easy to work with.
We have rented often from VRBO at places around the world and this house exceeded all of our expectations. The written descriptions and photographs on the website are quite accurate and very flattering but really don’t do it justice. It is equipped better than any rental we have ever enjoyed down to an iPod attached to the sound system with a wonderful selection of music; X-Box games that delighted our grandkids and a property manager who responded instantly to a couple of minor but most helpful needs. We plan to return on another day.
Our home is a great starting point to tour the entire island, and is close to Waimea, a charming Hawaiian town off the tourist track, where there are farmer's markets, live theater, shopping, and excellent restaurants. Less than 4 miles away is the little town of Kaiwaihae, with outdoor produce market, a local fresh (straight from the ocean) fish market, a macadamia nut factory, and several good restaurants.
