Shelley was very responsive! The property was perfect. Great location, it had everything I needed and I enjoyed the character of the apartment. Would be happy to stay here again!
This property is very well taken care off inside and out. It was better seeing it than the pictures. Very nice back yard to sit and have coffee but be careful because deer come thru there. Inside was nice and comfy and very clean. We were 100% satisfied and will visit again.

fantastic!
Shelley's house was charming, comfortable, convenient, clean, and quiet. She was available if needed and provided so many special extras to make our stay the best it could be! We would love to be able to come back or recommend to friends. Thanks again!
Wonderful time! Shelley was truly a premier hostess. She was an excellent communicator before, during and at the end of our stay. Her policy of early arrival (when able to offer) was much appreciated! The apartment was one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed at, and that is without charging a cleaning fee (which saves $50 to $100+ for the stay). The apartment is quaint with many thoughtful details that made me smile!

Quiet, superclean, wonderful hosts, walking distance to downtown
Thank you for a wonderful stay!..First of all, the coffee setup alone was worth five stars- great locally roasted beans, a grinder and a french press. Secondly, everything was clean with a comfy bed and good linens. The hosts really thought of every detail-- even an umbrella for a rainy day!...Also-They turned on the heat when an unexpected September cold spell blew into town...It was a 20 minute stroll downtown to Poor Richards- which is a great bookstore-cafe..But definitely recommend a car to see all the sites... The mountains and hiking are short drive away...Overall, it really felt like a cozy little home!

This New Yorker was the best! So friendly and easy to talk to. I would have never known there was a guest there if I hadn't met him because the place was left so clean.
Glad you enjoyed the coffee, a friend of mine is the roaster. I'm sure you had a wonderful time at your nephews wedding.
Nice to have met you,
Shelley
We really enjoyed our stay here during Thanksgiving week. The apartment is so cute and comfortable. The location was just perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our meals. Very comfortable bed--cozy and warm at night. I loved Shelley's decorating style. We'd love to come back to Colorado Springs and stay here again! Thanks Shelley!
My family loved staying at this property in Colorado Springs. The location was great - super close to everything. We also loved the walking distance to a great coffee shop. The home is adorable and charming. It was also super clean! We loved it and would totally stay here again!
I loved staying here! The apartment is so cozy and comfortable! The host Shelley is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is well equipped, so I was able to cook my meals and felt like I was at home. The location is centrally located in an older part of town which was perfect and so convenient. Thanks so much! I can't wait to visit again!
We (2 adults, one 9 year old child) enjoyed our stay at Shelly's apartment. It is such a find. The location is basically in central CO Springs, walking distance to Memorial Park, and close to all major sights. The apartment is super clean and cozy. It has absolutely everything you might need for your stay, even books and board games. The patio is great for morning coffee, breakfast or yoga. Highly recommend it!
The apartment was excellent and close to many activities. The park was very close for walks as well as the closeness to the Olympic Center. Shelley did an outstanding job at cleaning the Apt. The amenities were perfect. Shelley was also a good communicator-both effect and thoroughly. Excellent stay and we highly recommend it
This was a perfect place to land in Colorado Springs. Memorial Park is stunning (only a few blocks away) and we also walked downtown for dinner. The home was conveniently located-Shelley was a incredible host and the bed was so comfortable. We slept great and enjoyed relaxing at the home.
This property is immaculate, inside and out, convenient to downtown Colorado Springs and Hwy 24 to the mountains. The apartment I rented is tastefully decorated, fully stocked with everything an individual, or family, could possibly need, and then there's the lovely little extras. I found two sets of water and fizzy drinks in the fridge and oatmeal packets with yummy toppings on the convenient coffee/tea station (which offers tea bags, sweeteners, coffee beans, grinder, French press, coffee maker, ground coffee, and Gevalia instant!). My CO family and friends were able to come by and have meals with me and sit comfortably for hours. We had breakfast on the lovely patio and enjoyed the birdsong and squirrel antics. (We did NOT feed the squirrels, but they seemed to have an ample supply of peanuts in the shell from some local neighbor, LOL.) On the 4th we were pleased to have use of a mid-size cooler and golf umbrella provided! From the booking questions, and throughout my stay, Shelley was so easy to contact and I felt truly welcome. This was one of the top experiences I've had with VRBO. I'll be back, Shelley!
Convenient location, can walk to downtown, cute and comfortable

About the host
Hosted by Shelley Rose
I have never wanted to move away from Colorado. I love the beautiful weather, the mountains and raising my family in Colorado. I discovered online renting a couple years ago while trying to find a place to stay in Europe, I loved it! I have had such wonderful experiences traveling and staying in locals rentals.
Why they chose this property
I love this neighborhood. I love the friendly neighbors, the older homes and being able to walk to the coffee shop.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique in that it used to be a one family home until is was converted into four separate apartments in the 1950's. Each apartment has a different time period theme that my husband and I designed. We also did all the work remodeling.
