No need to worry about getting to the supermarket right away; your first morning breakfast is provided. The kitchen is equipped with popular spices, a coffee maker, toaster, blender, gas stove, microwave, and a full size fridge.

The master bedroom is on the second floor with a sitting room; a perfect place to iron any clothes or set up a baby bed. The restroom comes with all the soaps you need to freshen up: shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and hand soap.

The living room comes with a queen size sofa bed for two guests. A DVD player and a few movies are available.

You can hop on the city bus just two blocks away.

I have no cleaning fee but would appreciate if guests clean up the kitchen to help me out a bit.

There is no smoking in the apartment or on the property due to smell and other guest allergies. Even though marijuana is legal in the state of Colorado it is strictly forbidden on the property. No pets are allowed due to guests' allergies.

About Shelley Rose

I have never wanted to move away from Colorado. I love the beautiful weather, the mountains and raising my family in Colorado.

I discovered online renting a couple years ago while trying to find a place to stay in Europe, I loved it! I have had such wonderful experiences traveling and staying in locals rentals.

Shelley Rose purchased this apartment in 2014

Why Shelley Rose chose Colorado Springs

My husband and I decided to buy a Victorian style home in 2014. We knew it would take some work and we were up for the challenge. I told my husband :' I think I would really love to turn this place into a vacation rental spot.' The rest is history. We work on the home ourselves, so we have put our heart into it.

What makes this apartment unique

I love the fact that this apartment is so close to downtown and that it is an older home with all it's history. It has original wood floors through part of the house and big tall trees in the yard.

Very pleasant stay in Colo Spgs

  • 5 of 5

I had a delightful stay at Shelley's lodging in Colorado Springs. The llyocation, the lodging amenities, and the owner response were all outstanding. I highly recommend Shelley's lodging. When my travels bring me back to the Springs this will be the first place I check for availability. I hope to return and bring my wife for a getaway vacation.

Immaculate, Comfy, Colorado College neighborhood!!

  • 5 of 5

This apt is in a meticulously maintained charming old home. A perfect for anyone visiting Colorado College as it's one of the closest places to the college. It's also right around the corner from the square with the farmer's market and all of the quaint shops. It's much larger than the photos, and all of the furnishing are recent, quality and tasteful. The beds are very comfortable, and have top of the line soft sheets on them. The little touches like breakfast and orange juice in the fridge, some tea biscuits and coffee and tea made us feel immediately welcome. Parking right the driveway was nice. There is a sweet back patio, but we did not have a chance to use it. We've stayed at several places in Colorado Springs, and this one is BY FAR the best accommodation.

Colorado Springs Perfection

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this wonderful rustic 1 bedroom charmer. The property is very nicely and comfortably decorated, the kitchen is completely stocked and ready to use with everything you could possibly need, the bath and shower are very nice and very clean, and the bed....well it's to die for. So very comfortable that we haven't slept that good in quite a while. The property is pretty centrally located just a few minutes from the downtown restaurant area but far enough away that it still has a quiet old neighborhood feel. The property owner Shelley is so sweet and accommodating. She truly makes it her mission to make your stay a pleasurable one. We will certainly stay here again when we come back to Colorado Springs.

Beautiful home, Excellent location, Exactly as described plus extras, Private drive

  • 5 of 5

Property in an excellent location for everything. Very well maintained. Appreciated privacy of "home" vs hotel/motel vey much. Although Shelley was out of town during our stay, her husband was available for any questions we might have. Shelley supplied literally everything needed to make a comfortable and beautiful stay. Even Band Aids and Neosporin! Private drive just for us, so no on street parking required. Washer/dryer in basement was very helpful as we were there for six days and spent most of our time in the mountains. Even if it had rained us out, there were numerous board games, reading material, Wi-Fi, puzzles, etc., for all ages. Plus, Downtown is only a walk or bike ride away. Fully equipped kitchen really was fully equipped. We had chilled juices and water and quick breakfasts upon our arrival. So many thoughtful extras were also available for us. We are from Mississippi and drove so we truly appreciated being able to relax on a sofa or chair rather than just a bed in a room. It was our first time at a B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much to do and see in and around Colorado Springs that we didn't have time to do it all and hope to return sometime next year. We will definitely book with Shelley!! Would recommend as first choice for anyone.

The property is well attended, clean, and inviting! This is our first time to stay in a VRBO and we weren't disappointed. Shelley communicated all the information in a timely manner to make our stay in Colorado Springs enjoyable.

Car: recommended

The wonderful thing about visiting Colorado Springs is that you can do so much without spending too much money. Free 'must see' places are: Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Olympic training center (no longer free but well worth the fee), the Pioneer museum, a walk around the nationally acclaimed Broadmoor Hotel (while there, step into the Carriage Museum, it's free), A drive up to the mountains and a choice of many hiking trails. My apartment is located close to downtown where you can enjoy local culture and also walking distance to one of the largest parks in the city. Bike trails are close by-about 2 blocks away.
