Radicondoli is a small, picturesque town which also has everything needed to be a holiday base. Within easy walking distance of the accommodation there are three excellent restaurants, a small supermarket and other shops. Viewed from the accommodation are typical Tuscan rolling hills with distant views of San Gimigniano and Volterra.We are available to meet your needs and to advise you as to how best to enjoy your time here. However, we also respect your privacy and won't intrude.
We also offer cooking classes using our range of organic produce to prepare authentic Italian vegetarian dishes. We have a little store where you may wish to purchase some of our organic produce including wine, oil, jam, salsas, fruit juices, herbs and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
"La Fonte" is a typical Tuscan romantic stone country house nestled beneath the hilltop village of Radicondoli. It is a beautiful natural environment where it's still possible to hear the sound of sheep bells.
The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped. There are several outdoor tables and chairs where one can enjoy a meal and a glass of wine while watching the stunning sunset behind the rolling hills ... here you can appreciate the calmness and serenity of life beyond the rat race. While enjoying this peace, there are many opportunities to engage with the wonderful attractions of the area.
Apart from the charming village of Randicondoli, there are many beautiful, historic towns and villages in the vicinity. For instance, Siena, San Gimigniano, Volterra, Lucca, Firenze as well as the magnificent Mediterranean coast are all within about an hour's drive.Lovely local walks and natural pools in the nearby river Cecina. There are swimming pools within easy reach and in an hour you can drive to and enjoy sandy beaches just like the ancient Etruscan people did.
