Aloha and welcome to our condo in paradise. Our North Shore condo is located in Nihilani complex, one of the newest developments in Princeville with world-class amenities. Attractive Tropical Hawaiian landscaped grounds are very well maintained. Community area includes fabulous pool with waterfall, pool side cabana along with semi private spa area and Barbecue island in Hawaiian garden settings.

Our family spends 2-3 months a year at condo with our kids and it was furnished such keeping convenience and comfort of family in mind. Our condo has bi-level floor plan, which is most desired plan in all of Nihilani. There is no one above or below you, which is very convenient with kids and provides that much extra privacy. There is a distant ocean view from the master bedroom lanai and a peek of the mountains view from the other bedroom lanai. The condo is not on the busy Ka Haku road. The condo is close enough to the pool (less than a minute walk) and amenities but far enough to be tranquil. Our condo is centrally air-conditioned* (please check air-conditioning use policy).

* Kitchen equipped with modern appliances and cookware/utensils.

* Formal and casual dinnerware and silverware to serve 8.

* Drink-ware (Wine, Champagne) to serve 8.

* Super Automatic Espresso machine Jura Micro 1. Please note machine only takes whole bean coffee (no flavored beans).

* WI-FI with 15Mbps connection via time warner.

* 4 flat screen LCD smart TV’s. 3 of them have Digital cable service with HD Channels (1 in living room, 1 in master and 1 in queen bedroom). 4th TV is in Game room connected to Xbox and can be used for streaming videos.

* 2 Blu-Ray DVD players (1 in master and 1 in living room).

* Xbox 360 with Kinect and family games in living room.

* Amazon echo digital assistant.

* 2 car garage with clothesline, 4 beach chairs,1 Beach umbrella, 2 rain umbrellas,2 boogie boards, 4 Snorkeling sets, 2 adult bikes, 1 child bob stroller etc.

Occupancy:

Sleeps maximum 6 adults and two kids under age 16 (in den convertible twin beds).

Our main floor has open room concept with living/dining/kitchen with solid granite island ideal for family gatherings. Main floor has exotic Tiger Bamboo flooring all over, which is easy to maintain, and creates a warm cozy environment.

The living room has 48” flat panel Smart digital TV with Digital cable service along with Xbox 360 Kinect and Sony 3D Blu-Ray DVD player. Xbox games can be rented from nearest Redbox booth at Foodland groceries. Living room coffee table has storage place for Xbox controllers and board games for kids (Jenga, Connect 4, Monopoly, Uno etc.).

The kitchen is all granite countertop with all the amenities of home (Glass top electric range, GE Adora French door refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave, Jura Micro 1 espresso maker etc.). The Kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, rice cooker, toaster, and blender etc. along with dinnerware/silverware sets for casual and formal dinning.

The dining room has a full Dining table that seats 6 adults very comfortably.

From the wrap around Lanai on main floor you can enjoy sounds from nearby Wyndham artificial waterfalls along with colorful birds that visit trees and shrubs year around. Lanai has 4 piece dining set along with barstools.

Going up from the main level all of the upper level is soft carpet for comfort and noise isolation. The upper level has a master bedroom with King bed and attached lanai. There is a second bedroom with 1 queen bed and attached lanai, and a third bedroom with 1 queen bed. The closet in the third bedroom has Graco Pack ’n Play travel play yard and a key/electronic safe. There is a den with lounger that converts to full size bed along with Ottoman that converts to bed with memory foam mattress. All bedrooms including the den have a super quiet tropical ceiling fan that are controlled by switches. All beds are freshly made for each guest and we have extra sheets, pillows and accessories in the closets for each bedroom. Upper level includes a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron/iron-board.

The master bedroom is equipped with 46” HDTV flat screen with digital cable and a 3D blue ray player connected to the network ideal for streaming netflix/hulu/amazon videos. The master bedroom also has a retreat corner furnished with an ergonomic chair and contemporary work desk which is comfortable to get some writing/reading/computer/art/work done. There is an attached master bath with a bathtub, full standup shower and twin vanity. Attached to master bedroom is lanai with very comfortable wicker patio furniture set with a small cocktail table. There is a peek of ocean blue far away and soothing sounds from Wyndham artificial waterfalls along with bird chirps make it a very relaxing space.

Electronic locks protect the house and codes on them are changed after each guest checks out while providing the convenience of not carrying a key everywhere. We have fire extinguishers in the lanai, and kitchen. The house has smoke detectors from Nest on upper level and is centrally air-conditioned.

We have a two car attached garage for guests so your car(s) can be parked away from the sun and rain. The garage also has 4 Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, 2 boogie boards and 5 sets of snorkeling gear with fins. We have 4 bikes (2 adults and 2 kids) for your use along with bike locks. For your safety wear helmets while riding. Guests will need to bring their own helmets or rent them. Also available is a Bob Stroller for little ones. There is a hose right outside of the garage for washing sand and dirt off.

In summary our town home with 1,874 square feet of living area and 300 square feet of lanai space includes 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen, 1 den/game-room) 2 ½ baths and all the necessary amenities such as washer and dryer, wireless high-speed internet, free long distance telephone service to the US and Canada, TV and DVD player, family games, Xbox 360 with Kinect and two car garage stocked with bikes and beach gear.

*Air-Conditioner use - Electricity costs on Island of Kauai are five times higher than what we pay in most mainland cities and towns. We have installed ceiling fans in the den, living room and each bedroom and take advantage of Kauai’s wonderful trade winds that keep the condo at a very comfortable temperature. In event guests need to avail use of A/C there is a charge of $30/day to use A/C. Please note the lowest temperature that can be set when using A/C is 75 degrees.

Owners (Karthik and Dhivya) have travelled all around the world to many beautiful places, but Garden paradise is the one that stole our heart and we chose to buy our second home here. We live in beautiful Colorado among majestic Rocky Mountains, when its time to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean our home in paradise is a true retreat. Our design tastes are a mix of classic and contemporary. You will find influences all over the home designs. We spend about 2-3 months at our house in paradise but can't be there as much as we like, so we are happy to share our place with fellow travelers just looking to relax, enjoy and soak in the beauty of paradise.

Why Dhivya chose Princeville

We chose Kauai for it's beauty, waves and relaxed vibe. Kauai is beautiful all over but our heart was set on North shore because of unique climate and everything north shore offers (hiking,kayaking, snorkeling etc). Nihilani in princeville was a easy choice because it’s one of the newest condos complexes with all modern amenities and open layout with town home feeling more like a home and include a 2 car attached garage. The pool, spa and BBQ area is top notch and always kept meticulously clean. It's not a large complex, so it's often quiet and very peaceful at the pool, but also throughout the entire complex. The walking/bike paths are extensive and gorgeous throughout Princeville. You're a short walk to restaurants, golf, Queen's Bath, Hideaway's beach and surf break, and both the Westin and the St. Regis (great for a sunset cocktail). Our town home is ideally located within complex with a minute walk to pool/spa area but far enough to maintain tranquility. Due to unique location in complex our master lanai has peek of distance ocean views and we have distant views of Mountain from another lanai.

What makes this townhome unique

Our home is in like new mint condition with all amenities of home and more.Home was designed to be kids and adult friendly (xbox,family games etc). When we are not on island we want to share our home with guests who would maintain our home as if it’s their own. Our condo is on other side of complex away from busy roads and has distant ocean and mountain views while being very close to pool/spa/bbq areas. We are very prompt in our response and try to build relationships.

A perfect home away from home to relax and enjoy paradise!

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property. It it nicely furnished, clean, well organized and has the most comfortable beds. You can tell the owners really care about their guests and ensure the property has everything, and more, that they would need during their trip. There are lots of toys and it's close to the pool, which is great for the kids. The property is also centrally located and we enjoyed taking the babies for a stroll to watch the sunsets by the ocean. The complex itself is very nice and quiet with private lanais for relaxing. The owners and property manager are also incredibly nice and helpful. We'll definitely return for another vacation. We had a great stay in your home and if we were to ever return to Prineville we’d call you first!

Lucy was very delightful and she did not have to come over our first day and spend lots of time with our family answering questions about the homes and the surrounding area. She’s a keeper!

5 Star for it all in every category :)

Keeping your home clean was a pleasure, nothing was damaged.

The kids and adults loved playing the X-box.

The board games were also used during the evenings.

We did use the bikes, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas....everything! THANK YOU!!!

It was easy to teach the kids to remove the shoes coming and going :)

Thank you for proving the espresso coffee machine! I used it every morning for at least 3 cups :)

Your painting/artwork choices were perfect for your condo and the wife took several pictures and ended up purchasing 2 of the prints you have for our place in Oceanside. She loved them all as did I.

Again, the perfect home for a couple or a family!

Every detail was thought of in this beautiful, nicely decorated condo.

Wow, this place exceeded our expectations. It was like coming in to your own home, very nicely appointed and decorated, every detail was thought of.

All the beach chairs, toys etc available in the garage. Bikes for adults and children. Even a shop vac to clean out the sand from the car.

Everything was clearly labeled and this made it easy to find everything in the kitchen cabinets. A nice supply of spices made it nice for preparing meals. A big hit with my adult children was the coffee maker that got used every morning.

The place was spotless when we arrived and you can tell the owners have put a lot of effort into decorating and furnishing this place to make it very comfortable.

Pool and Spa is very conveniently close by with a BBQ area that we used several nights.

We had no issues with this condo and will definitely come here again when we come back to Princeville. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Six Night in Kauai

Very, Very Nice

We are frequent vacationers (3-4X/yr) and have stayed at many rentals over the years. We went to Kauai for a family reunion with 19 travelers and almost as many local relatives. We have never been as impressed as we were with this specific condo at Nihilani at Princeville. I echo the other reviews - it is modern, well-equipped, very clean, quiet and located close to beaches and stores. But for us, what made this unit extraordinary were two things:

• Amenities were above-and-beyond. There were 3 different coffee machines/coffee beans, a smart thermostat for the central AC, excellent motion detector night lighting, a tablet, tire pump for the Trek bikes, a garage door opener for the rental car, and first aid kits in the dresser drawers. And everything is matched and coordinated!

• More important was Dhivya and Kharthik’s clear focus on customer satisfaction. They responded immediately by email to my pre-trip questions and by phone when we landed, and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. And once there, any questions we had were answered by the clear instructions and labels placed throughout the unit. There was absolutely no stress in our “lodging” and we could completely relax and enjoy the hiking, beaches, restaurants and attractions and catching up with family.

Our town home is centrally air-conditioned but use of air Conditioning is optional. Kauai has one of the highest electric rates in nation (about 5 times as expensive). There will be a surcharge of $25 to run A/C at moderate level 76-77 degrees. Please note the smart (Nest) thermostat is locked at 76 degrees and won’t go below. If you really want to use A/C let us know pre or post arrival.
