Welcome and thank you for viewing our cabin here in beautiful Prattville! We have been coming here for the past 20 years and love all that the area has to offer. Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, boating or exploring, there is always something for the family to do. We have taken great pride in fully renovating this cabin which includes a new kitchen and bathroom. The cabin includes three spacious bedrooms consisting of one queen bed, two double beds, and one double bed (six adults can sleep comfortably). There are two bathrooms, one located upstairs on the main level next to the bedrooms and one located in the basement with outside access. Our cabin is walking distance from the lake with designated beach access, and is also just a few minute stroll from Pratville’s very own Carol’s Café and Plumas Pines Restaurant and Bar. Our cabin has provided fond memories for our family and friends and we hope that you find it to be as enjoyable!
Our family loves spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking, and camping. We enjoy being together and building memories as our family grows.

We have been coming to Prattville nearly our whole lives and love what it has to offer. Lake Almanor is a great place to get away from the fast paced city life, but also has local amenities to make your stay comfortable.
Prattville has designated lake access that is just 300 yards from the cabin. There is a free boat launch in the camp grounds just past Plumas Pines. There is a local Marina that has access to waverunners, boat rentals, and other watersport activities. There are hiking trails that surround the lake, and an 11 mile bike trail that goes right through Prattville. The beautiful scenery surrounds you everywhere you go. Chester is just a short drive down the road, which has a Holiday Market and the Pine Shack Frosty (Burger/Ice Cream...mmmmm) is a family hit.
The cabin is beautifully renovated and it is really nice and clean. The location by the lake Almanor is quiet, but lively at the same time. Thus the cabin itself deserves 5 starts, but... The stay in the cabin was a bit inconvenient. You need to take all your trash back home with you (6 hours in a warm car with 5 days' trash, including fresh fish packaging and other food scraps, was an exciting new experience) and the cabin doesn't provide shower towels or linens (we found out in the cabin that are no blankets or pillows either). Also, they don't have wifi or landline and the cell phone signal is weak. Being offline is fine as long as there isn't' any emergencies. And it would have been nice to be able to check online where the nearest grocery store is. These inconveniences drop two stars from this review. And due to those inconveniences I don't think we will come back to this otherwise extremely lovely cabin.
